I think it’s more prevalent everywhere. There’s a certain amount of bleed over for some people from their online personas to the real world. People who are dickheads to others online now feel emboldened to act that way in real life, and haven’t so far faced any consequences for doing so.

A work colleague of mine in the early 2000s had a Niva. I remember it having a designated parking bay so it would only leave oil stains in the one spot. It failed to proceed one evening so it stayed in that parking bay for a month waiting on the parts. Sadly she traded it for a golf shortly after. 😢

I found it helped to drink decaf (as miserable as it sounds). It helped trick me into thinking I’d had my usual amount of caffeine. Also, paracetamol and a shitload of water.

I think it was mentioned in the vid that it had sat outside for a while before making it to the comically tiny tenement shed - which is when the badges etc got nicked. But yeh, oof ow the rust.
