I'm not mad. Please don't put in the newspaper that I got mad. It was the pilots who got mad.

We've got some really exciting news to share tomorrow during the Team Kentucky Update. Tune in live at 1:30 p.m. ET tomorrow via Facebook.com/GovAndyBeshear or subscribe at YouTube.com/GovAndyBeshear.

We want to hear from you, Kentucky! Join us TONIGHT for the first Kentucky Pre-K for All Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. ET in Frankfort at the @KYTC Conference Center, Auditorium C105. 📍200 Mero Street, Frankfort, KY 40622 Visit PreK4All.Ky.gov for more details.

When you discover a way to help students build confidence and find joy, it's truly a blessing. The Governor's Scholars Program does that here in Kentucky. Let me tell y'all, when I visit every summer, the excitement is contagious – and today was no exception. Thanks for a great visit, GSP!

After my visit to the Governor's School for Entrepreneurs today, I can say we've got a lot to be excited about. These Kentucky students are so smart and talented and watching them build their skills was a lot of fun. I know amazing things are ahead for these leaders!

This “big, ugly bill” is dangerous and will destroy rural health care. In Kentucky alone, 35 hospitals are under the threat of closing, stripping care from families, cutting jobs and crippling local economies. 1/2

In two weeks, over 12,000 Kentuckians have raised their voices to demand Pre-K For All in Kentucky. From boosting parents' take-home pay by $9,000 a year to growing our workforce and helping our kids succeed, Pre-K For All is a win-win. Voice your support: PreK4All.Ky.gov

This Last Week On Team Kentucky is all about our travel across the state to demand Pre-K For All with business leaders, parents, educators and more. Pre-K for all isn't political – it's the right thing to do. See for yourself: prek4all.ky.gov.

Through bipartisan efforts, we've delivered on the things that matter most to Kentuckians. Working together is something we should all be proud of. ✅$500 million for clean water in 120 counties ✅Expanding high-speed internet ✅$250 million in career and technical education

While leaders in D.C. are cutting Medicaid from 16 million Americans and causing folks to lose local access to health care, we're working on ways to bring care right to Kentuckians' doors. We're helping people lead better lives – something every level of government should be focused on.

High temperatures are expected across the commonwealth this weekend, and we’re asking Kentuckians take precautions to stay safe. Make sure to drink a lot of water, seek shade if outdoors, take breaks and also look out for your pets. Have a good weekend and stay safe, everyone!

Health care is a basic human right and should always be accessible to families. Now, thanks to the Appalachian Regional Healthcare Mobile Clinic, primary care services, health screenings and more will come right to the door of more in Eastern Kentucky. 1/2

Great news, folks — in May, we marked a new record number of jobs filled in Kentucky. We also saw our unemployment rate decrease and our labor force participation increase. To sum it up, more of our people are bringing home a good paycheck for their family and living better lives.

Not even gonna look so I can preserve illusion it was AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck”

Juneteenth is a day where we give thanks that the moral arc – at long last – bent toward justice. Together, we must acknowledge our nation's greatest injustice, while also honoring the collective courage of African Americans who paved the way for real, meaningful change.

There will be no Team Kentucky Update tomorrow, Thursday, June 19, as we join together as Kentuckians to honor and recognize Juneteenth.

I'm proud to share that Kentucky's apprenticeship program has seen a 131% increase since 2015. Intentional outreach has led to more involvement from employers and participants, with more skills practiced than ever before. Now more Kentuckians have a path to a brighter future.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine today unveiled a state-of-the-art design type for the new companion bridge that’s part of the 8-mile-long Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Read more: tinyurl.com/5n9yv24f

Mike Lee Stresses He Would Have Posted Same Thing If Own Family Savagely Murdered

I was so sad to learn the news of Hayley Davidson, a social worker for the state, whose life was taken too soon by a senseless act in Lee County. Please join Britainy and me, and all of Team Kentucky, in praying for her family and loved ones during this unimaginable time. 1/2

On Monday we launched the Kentucky African American Heritage Trail, an experience that honors the incredible contributions African Americans have made to our commonwealth and country. With more than 50 sites, this Trail shines a light on our past so we can build a better future together.

ICYMI: Gov. Andy Beshear traveled to the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce where he joined Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman, local officials, educators, business leaders and parents to rally support for the “Pre-K for All” initiative. Read more: tinyurl.com/2wpd7f66

Our economy is booming, with over 61,000 jobs created since I took office and over $35 billion in announced investments. That took a lot of hard work from partners across the state, something we celebrated last week with GLI in Louisville.

We announced 1,300 new jobs coming to Kentucky last week alone. Congrats, y'all. ✅Norton Healthcare creating 1,000 jobs in Louisville ✅Commercial Specialty Truck Holdings creating 50 jobs in Cynthiana ✅BE&E creating 250 new jobs in Muhlenberg County

Happy Father's Day to all of the dads and people who have stepped into the role. It's a job that brings a lot of love, pride and, of course, stress, but it's the one that drives me daily to do some good.

Lexington turns out #NoKings

Hearing the terrible news out of Minnesota this morning. While we wait to learn more, I hope you’ll join Britainy and me in praying for the families and communities affected. To my friend Gov. Tim Walz, we’re here for Minnesota.

As a four-decade veteran of the daily journalism business, let me tell you: Every competent political reporter in this country knows that Trump is trying to establish a dictatorship. The industry's shame is that so few journalists will say so, and the ones who do lose their jobs.

Out-fucking-rageous.

Gov. @andybeshearky.bsky.social exposed Trump's lies: He promised to lower costs, but his tariffs are "raising costs on all of our American families." Now Trump tells struggling families "maybe your kids have too many toys." Trump broke his promise and blames Kentucky families for it.

Today, we join together to honor and recognize the impact of women veterans. These heroes have fought and sacrificed to protect our country while also overcoming unimaginable obstacles in their dedication to serving. To our veterans and those serving today: Thank you.

Kentucky, a cold front is moving through the state today with the possibility of damaging winds, heavy rain and isolated hail. The strength will increase as it moves east. Please have your weather alerts on, avoid high water and stay safe.

Tapper can go on a podcast and trash Democrats — “no wonder you fuckers are losing elections” — and nobody bats an eye. It’s only bias when you’re telling the truth about republicans.

ICYMI: Gov. Beshear announced that Kentucky’s request for a 30-day extension to the registration period for those impacted by the severe storms that began on April 2, 2025 has been approved. The deadline has been extended until July 25, 2025. Read more: tinyurl.com/5297h3sp

I’m happy to share some good news for Kentuckians. Starting July 1, the state gas tax will decrease by 1.4 cents per gallon. That's less money at the pump, and more money for the things families need like rent and groceries. I know every penny counts, and I hope this will help make a difference.

Governor @andybeshearky.bsky.social just beat Trump in federal court to protect AmeriCorps jobs and recover $7 million for our state. The KY GOP stayed quiet while Trump tried to rob Kentucky blind. Choose Democratic leaders who fight for Kentucky.

“Kentucky will never reach its potential if our children’s ZIP code determines their place in the world by the first day of kindergarten. The time for pre-K is now.” - Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman Couldn't agree more! 👏

We've announced 60,500 jobs since I've taken office. We've also celebrated the highest wages in Kentucky's history. We're going to keep building on this progress knowing that every job announced is a new opportunity for a Kentucky family to live better lives.

Let's be there for Washington County during this difficult time. If you're able, donate to teamkystormrelieffund.ky.gov. Every dollar goes directly to those affected by natural disasters, including taking care of the funeral expenses of those lost. www.lex18.com/news/coverin...
