Exactly - if the laws don't matter and what the courts rule doesn't matter ... there's NOTHING else that matters!

“No court of the United States may use appropriated funds to enforce a contempt citation for failure to comply with an injunction or temporary restraining order if no security was given when the injunction or order was issued….” Translated: No federal court may enforce a contempt citation.

In addition to the budgetary injustice, this same "budget bill" also has a clause, approved by the house, that shields Trump and his allies from being held in contempt of court. In short, they’re trying to pass a law that lets Trump freely defy court orders.

@kim.senate.gov is all over this already. #insanity

At least in picking Jeanine Pirro as his replacement nominee, he picks a qualified candidate - someone who lies for him publicly and is a Fox News host. No better credentials than that. (see sarcasm dripping)

If they're "the worst on misrepresentation" as he posts on Truth Social, does the double negative actually make them most representative of the truth?

Agree to disagree. At least he's out there making noise about today's issues and is voicing disagreement with the U.S. funding Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

Senator Sanders is the only one, the sole vote, that voted against additional funding for Israel last year, he has spoken on this topic repeatedly in Congress, and in public. Raising a bill that no other congressman would support would have no true value. www.sanders.senate.gov/in-the-news/...

Either I'm not understanding your reply, or you're not understanding mine because your summarization of my commentary makes no sense to me.

The point of all this is - The U.S. should not be supporting Israel (or any country) in the ethnic cleansing and genocide of another. Period. Who supports such atrocities more or less is irrelevant.

Yes, Bernie has. But our current administration has not and will not.

Agreed, but we shouldn't fund the killing of every Palestinian in doing so.

But we continue to fund and provide weapons to Israel. Aid is only part of the issue, the attack on Gaza must stop and we must stop funding it.

Sadly in this case, as in many others over decades, genocide serves the U.S. more than Democracy.

Having an ally and military partner in that region, Israel, has been deemed more important to this, and previous administrations, than the annihilation of Gaza and the innocent Palestinians who live there.

Because forever, in the name of Democracy and Humanity, we do whatever is good for US. If it benefits the U.S., we're there. If not, we don't even bother giving lip service to Democracy and Humanity.

He hates Hollywood and everyone in it anyway so there has to be an alternate reason for his position. Oh, right, you already called it out ... Insanity!

Instead of watching that wasteful spectacle, why not join a NO KINGS protest rally that day instead. www.mobilize.us/nokings/map/

Agree with your sentiment but not that this is the official US position. It's nothing more than a bored, ignorant man looking for his daily dose of attention. And getting someone to write this for him towards that effort.
