Hey guys, cool cosplay! Was the Army Surplus store out of Brown Shirts???

Probably not, but you can impeach him for High Crimes and Misdemeanors, of which there are many. Lemme make ya a list...

And who is going to snap up all those foreclosed houses on the cheap? Billionaires! REITs! Then they will sit on them, and rent them back to people who need housing, for a tidy profit. This was the plan all along. Crash the economy, buy everything they can, then pull the tariffs and profit!

You’ve missed steps 0 and 1b 0: take massive short positions 1b: close those positions Why profit only on the upturn? If you know the market is about to tank, bet against it so you can profit in both directions!!!

Rich people. They’ll buy up everything at a discount, while everyone else is starving.

While you're at it, can we have like 5 more Bernies, 10 more Lizs, and a dozen Buttigiegs?? That would solve a LOT of problems!

Big businesses might not care, but small and medium biz, family farms, homeowners, and working class people are all about to get fleeced. And when you lose your business, or farm, or house, who is going to buy it up (at a discount price?) That's right! Big Biz. Billionaires. Crashing With Purpose.

We MUST fight back, with every tool we have. Marches, boycotts, filibusters. If we don't, it'll be 50 years before we get back to where we are now, if we even can. Oligarchs are stacking the deck against you, so it's time to get off the couch and fight.

Meanwhile, you lose your job, everything costs more, so you turn to your credit cards, run up a debt. And who owns that debt? The Billionaires, Right again! The rich make money during good times, and even more money during bad times. And we've handed them the power to further rig the game. 🧵3/4

So the billionaires purposely tank the market and the economy, then buy all of these things at bargain prices, increasing their wealth long term. They consolidate their hold over the means of production, ensuring the lower classes go back to broke. 🧵 2/4

No, you picked a bad week to come back from vacation. If you can afford it, Kai, consider staying on vacation somewhere for like, 4 years? I would, but I'm broke!

AUGH! The bane of my existence! "But if we put tariffs on imports, US products will be cheaper!" Do these people not understand capitalism??? If my competitor's product goes up 10%, I'm going to raise my price by 9% and be *comparatively* cheaper, but it's still MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BEFORE.

Oh, I'm sure there are many reasons! He and his pals are probably shorting the market, timed to take advantage of tariff announcements.

Because $24 Million to Musk is like me dropping a penny on the sidewalk and deciding it's not worth my time to lean over and pick it up.

If he were really hungry, and you handed him a packet of Ramen, how long do you think it would take him to make it? I can make instant ramen in like 5 minutes. I bet it would take him 30+. I'd like to see him find a pot and boil water by himself. I'm not sure he could. Did anyone ever teach him how?

Brings up an interesting question: tRump has been rich his entire life. He has certainly had servants cooking for him all those years. How many times in his life do you think he has made himself a grilled cheese? Or even... toast? When he wants toast, would he know how to use the toaster?

Way too long, usually.

Well, if he wanted a government job, he should have divested himself of all of his stocks. And the fact is, that he didn't, it's costing him hundreds of billions of dollars, and he STILL is the richest man in the world.

The problem , of course, is that the MAGAs have been brainwashed to accept lies as truth, and they are unwilling to accept any fact from any source that tells them different. Living in a post-truth Idiocracy.

If his daddy hadn't given him 100 Million Dollars to get started, he'd be a washed-up used car salesman in Hoboken. "This car is the greatest car you've ever seen, let me tell ya. It was owned by an old lady who only drove it to church. Best car you'll ever own, or my name isn't Discount Donny!"

Oh, dog, I wish we could write cartoons about OUR guy like that. "This person is mildly annoying!" Instead every day it's like "He picked a fight with the President of Losotho, and is using DEI as an excuse to invade Singapore so he can build a new tower with his name on it."

I'm not going to say "never". I think they used to, but stopped giving a sh!t in the 90s, and it's been all downhill from there.

Whoa! That is one sternly-written letter!!! #DonTheCon better start following the rules!! Or else the next letter might be even sterner, with 20% more "We're very disappointed in you" and a heaping spoonful of "Won't you please think of the children in Africa?" and one "Have you no shame?"

I would like to see the Canadian Power companies do the same tactic as trump: Threaten to cut off power. Then reverse it. Then cut it off for 2 days. Then jack up the price, while threatening again. And make it clear that this is retaliation for his idiotic policies.

Evil will always triumph... because good is dumb. But seriously, when the other guy lies, cheats, steals, and kicks you in the n*ts, you can't respond by showing up in a pink hat. tenor.com/bSCcV.gif

It's not about golf courses, it's about letting Russian warships and oil drilling go unchecked in the arctic. It's why he wants Canada too. If the US had Canada and Greenland, Russia pretty much owns the other half of the arctic globe. Next they'll be after Norway and Iceland.

People who fall out of Putin's favor have a habit of falling out of windows, too.

Not "America". tRUMP. The *people* of America support Ukraine, and don't support Putin. People who understand history recognize what's going on. If Putin takes Ukraine, Poland and the Baltics will be next, and Europe will be much less safe. #SlavaUkraini

I've been saying it for a while: Any time Schumer gives a speech, it sets back the Democrats' cause by 5 years. That thing with the Corona and the Avocado? Floppy clown shoes. He's watching a coup take place, and he's trying to get people's attention with silly props.
