If I understand correctly, it only refers to federal income tax. They would still pay payroll taxes, including SS and Medicare, and State taxes. So no impact on SS.
There's a lot of reasons why this isn't the good news people think it is, but SS isn't one.

If those are ICE's numbers, I would be curious what the numbers are for healthcare providers & educators. These are also people of service who do not see themselves as going into "violent" jobs that I would guess are regularly assaulted by the people they work with/serve.

We just visited Massachusetts from California. California is almost twice as high for gas. Don't know what states people are in who are complaining about the price of gas, but this seems to be an especially west coast/HI problem. Even AK seems to be cheaper. Give me $3 gas any day!!!
