Would not be able to resist scrawling something profane on that ad

Would recommend checking episode reviews for TNG and skipping any that sound shit. First couple seasons are rough going, but there are gems in there like "Measure of A Man" and "Q Who". The quality gets a lot more consistent from s3 onwards.

actually it turns out you can just tap the mode itself and that turns it off/on (the submenu thing that says "turn off for an hour" etc. has to be closed though)

I think you have to select one of the other focus modes, "personal" or "work", etc.

Why is the UK like this...

Reform had a couple of party political broadcasts tonight, and it was all about channel crossings, migrants, typical right wing shit.

post deleted... I was too late to see it in all its glory

Man, Community was so good. So many classic lines per episode!

The lib dems are the actual opposition. Badenoch is a joke.

A lot of Americans seem to take this kind of stuff for granted.

And PS2 and Gamecube had a budget range of titles. For Gamecube it was called "player's choice". Back then, I picked up Mario Sunshine and The Wind Waker for £20 apiece. It was a great time to be a gamer.

the boss battles are such a pain in the arse. but the atmosphere/music/visuals are so good.

What in the reverse Porky's is going on here?

I suddenly feel like writing a web browser plugin that automatically appends "(cry baby loser)" every time the word "putin" appears.

Really missed these kinds of long shots of characters walking through the campus as the series went on. Made Greendale feel so lively!

I am also thinking about how they must be difficult to market. I have been looking at the trailers for Prey. They don't really get across what I loved about the game, but I have no idea how I would try to market it either.

I guess the systems are complex so it takes more time to learn and appreciate than a simpler kind of game, like a straight up FPS.

I am the same haha. I have gifted it to multiple friends. They did such a good job immersing you in the role of Morgan, and the atmosphere is incredible! I had so many questions at the start of the game and as the game went on, all the pieces slowly clicked into place. It was amazing.

I am glad to find someone else that enjoys Prey! It is my favourite of all time. I am working on getting all the achievements, and it has forced me to play in many different ways and find different solutions.

Noooo!! Goddamn it Netflix. Loved the Oxenfree games.

Although because the US government can kind of do whatever they want, they turn up to the party covered in shit anyway and puke all over everyone for good measure. I'm thinking Vance at the Munich conference!

Yessss I have been saying this for years. It totally spoiled the atmosphere that made the first game so special. TR2 still has some pretty cool levels though.

Given that they voted him out and then back in again, after losing any doubt whatsoever about what kind of politician he is (Jan 6th), I think the rest of the world should just consider the USA unreliable, period.

I can't help but imagine this guy trying to fit into Columbo's tiny car

Absolutely gorgeous.

It's like they are trying to appeal to no one. They'll never be right wing enough for the people that support Farage, so why bother?

I always dreaded this too, even if I was friendly with them! If you make eye contact too early, then you have to keep eye contact for too long and it's just awkward.

Don't worry, microsoft will find a way to fuck it up eventually

That doughnut video will never get old.

Yeah and there are so many bullshitters on youtube claiming "how to get fluent in X weeks" or "how I got fluent quick" or some such crap.

messy sketches are my favourite!

Think the last couple of tracks are the only weak point, but overall it is solid gold. Every moment is burned into my mind. So many brilliant tracks. The b-sides from that era are amazing too.

I also love the way you will do a companion quest, then go off and do some other stuff and after a while they'll call you about another one. Sort of makes them feel more alive, like they are going off and doing their own thing too. You can't just do their missions all at once.

I second this. I also initially bounced hard off Cyberpunk due to lots of niggling bugs, but now it is fantastic. Loved all the companion stories and their interactions on the phone and texts etc.

Wondered the same thing. Maybe because you said about trees being cut down to make books? Or maybe youtube is just... y'know... a bit shit.

And Prey and its Mooncrash DLC also by Arkane (but the now closed Austin branch)! I love the way all their games just casually drop new abilities that can drastically change your playstyle. In Deathloop, it was the "wrecking ball" and "bloodthirsty brawler" trinkets.

The massive disparity in quality from episode to episode over the first couple of seasons is wild.

Stay strong and block, block, block!

They are trying to inspire people to make worse videos and reduce the value of their own platform. Classic youtube move.

Thanks, I will check it out 👍

The atmosphere and tone of the show is really unique! It is kind of... quietly mature, I guess. Have you seen any other anime series that are similar to Bebop in tone?
comment in response to post
Yep, they've always been on the wrong side of history.

"Elmo" hahaha! Using it. Blocking these kinds of people is very enjoyable 👍 hopefully they won't be able to dominate the conversation on here without the twitter algorithm that boosts their posts.
comment in response to post
The "censorship" is usually just people blocking them en masse because no one wants to hear their whining.

Hey Michaela, nice style 👍 the second render reminds me of The Witness a bit.
