Someone noted that his parade is not to show Trump's military might to Moscow and Beijing and Tehran. The parade is to show Trump's military might to Los Angeles and San Francisco and Boston.

I was kind of hoping Trump ran just to keep out of prison, and was just going to play golf and not care about anything. But he's on a complete revenge tour. "So you all tried to put me in prison for the rest of my life, huh?! " So he's going to burn the country down...

He really does seem to be itching to open fire on US civilians, doesn't he?

Sigh. I've never felt so sure that we've just had our last election...

Yes, but it's not just Trump. All the GOP in the Senate, House, SCOTUS, and governors and state houses controlled by GOP are needed to stop the midterm elections. If the GOP thinks they're going to lose reelection due to Trump, don't expect the GOP to stop Trump, expect the GOP to stop voters.

Umm, because 49.4% of American voters are psychopaths? Just representative democracy in action!

Hmm, I don't believe Mr Moran makes that post without thinking that he's quitting ABC, and moving into podcasting...

How likely is it that Secretary Hegseth and his people have been handpicking soldiers of like-minded white nationalists into discreet battalions, whom won't have any issues with following illegal orders when deployed in US cities?
comment in response to post
Hmm, if Trump and Hegseth were around in the 1860s, which side would they be on?

Hmm, do we do deserve better? Old saying is, "In a democracy, we get the government we deserve." It's representative democracy in action!

Over many years, I have learned that everything Senator Blackburn says is factually untrue.

Professor, reading the lovely-but-half-witted people who comment on your posts does more to increase my Block List than anything else on this site.

Umm, isn't the truth that 49.4% of Americans are just human garbage?

Is Secretary Hegseth so eager to show the US military are warriors that he's willing to order them to open fire on unarmed American civilians?

Is the likelihood of midterm elections happening in 2026 decreasing everyday?
comment in response to post
Fair points! But how about a year from now? If the White House, Congress, and SCOTUS all try to cancel midterm elections? How will unarmed protests be met? I don't know the answer to these questions. But I hope people more important than me are also asking them...

How far must it go until it's unlikely that there are midterm elections next year?

If the President orders US troops to open fire on unarmed civilians, does Secretary Hegseth push back? Do Hegseths hand-picked military leaders follow orders?

Old saying is, "In a democracy, we get the government we deserve." Sometimes I think, "Americans deserve better than this!" But other times I think, "No, Americans deserve every goddamn bit of this."

Yes, but it's not just Trump doing it. It's the US House, the US Senate, SCOTUS, and all the Republican governors will be needed to stop elections. If the GOP thinks Trump will cost them reelection, don't expect the GOP to stop Trump, expect the GOP to stop voters.

When Stephen Miller reads articles like this, he screams "America is for Americans!", and dances a little jig around his office.

If we go with the thought of trump Administration is actually trying to destroy the American economy, do their actions make more sense? Who benefits?
