It's partially intentional that there are obvious mistakes in these. The people who respond with these mistakes so apparent are easier to scam. Critical thinking is the biggest enemy of scammers.

This applies to many people who have neurodivergent conditions. Someone with ADHD will similarly have trouble processing what's being asked of them in situations where they are out of their comfort zone and will seem like they're not paying attention, even if they are trying their best.

Section 230 isn't even hard to imagine in a non-technological sense either. It's like a public bulletin board at a town hall. If someone puts illegal content on it, is the town hall instantly liable? If they kept it there and didn't take action when it's reported, of course then they are liable.

I think the problem is that they want to be the heckler in the audience who gets noticed. Like I imagine that bsky is like everyone's own podium in front of an audience. By default the audience is your followers, but if they make enough noise, people will come check what the fuss is about.

I wouldn't blame the ATC for this one, listening to the recording, you can hear that the pilot of the private jet made an error. The ATC gave him clear instructions which he failed to follow correctly. I'm very glad it was a near miss, and commend the southwest pilots for their reaction.

I know partially I'm in that "Home" category, but it's because when you post a video, the algorithm knows I want to watch it. So I open the YouTube app during a break, it defaults to the Home tab, and what's the first thing on that list? Your video. At that point I'll just tap the video immediately.

I wouldn't be surprised if those videos are titled like that to incite that argumentative response. It's clickbaiting by making you feel mad about how wrong they are. I wouldn't be surprised if many of those videos expand on the premise by making it actually "stop using [feature] in these scenarios"

Do they just not think public speakers use teleprompters? If you ever see two random glass panes on each front side of a podium, those glass panes are reflecting a teleprompter below them so that the speaker can read it while still being able to seem to look around the crowd?

I also wonder what they are like in person? Is it just that they just turn off their filter online, or are they this disturbing in person as well? Do they realize how bad it makes them look?

Looking at the timeframe, looks like when Bluesky did some changing on how they present images in version 1.95 (actually only hours after you posted this art) to fix stretching on camera photos. Looks like any image before then now has bezels to normalize them if it might have been stretched?

I should go to momocon one of these times, since it's near me. I just always end up having things happen during the week that it's happening.

I don't think I ever worshipped him per se, but I had hoped a long while back that he would be one of those eccentric billionaires who occasionally said dumb things, but at the same time would inject capital and media attention into new developing things that would be generally be a net positive.

I think I was also trying to organize information that I'd normally put in a bulleted list in 300 characters, which probably led to my explanation being easy to misunderstand!

Sorry! I meant it in the sense that don't force yourself to draw something that you aren't as interested at the moment with just to try to gain more followers. Draw what you enjoy drawing and eventually people will follow.

I think it's definitely better to draw what you enjoy rather than chasing the trend. In my personal view, networking is king here. Discover is a mess at times, so I end up mostly checking my followed. To end up in front of new viewers, reposts from other artists are the most effective.

Yeah, it's supposed to promote high skill gameplay by opening several wounds and then cashing out all of them at once rather than immediately breaking them. And it's debated if it's a visual or actual bug. Without tools that can read the game data, it's hard to tell for sure.

This can happen with a single wound, since all of the hits are considered wound breaking hits. Here's an example of a charge blade doing what I believe you are mentioning: www.reddit.com/r/MHWilds/co...

And not the wound closing itself. So, if the wound closes on the multi-hit part, each hit ups that multiplier for the remainder of the hits in it. So you end up with suddenly the remainder of the multi hits doing absurd amounts of damage as they reach the cap of the multiplier.
