Wishing there were more publishers on Bsky. We’ve stopped using X bcse no reach at all now for us so it feels like a waste of time (plus was put off by the politics early this year, bad association). Here feels low pace but also like people care, so more meaningful interaction maybe + less toxic?

We realise this is a bit of a reductive way to describe it without giving spoilers.

Ace! Thanks! Yeah, someone mentioned this book to us before but we never got around to checking it out. Must do this.

Yes. We call it an upward spiral: a good habit of exercise makes you feel good which makes you feel like exercising.

Never saw it at the time. Interesting show, quite slow to build up.

You could maybe put in a request? They do that here in Glasgow. If a title is not on their catalogue you can ask them to buy it.

Publishers (at least the traditional book world ones, not sure about the comic ones) don’t like it either and put a clause in contracts saying you can’t use AI to write/draw a book. Which is great.

Good point! We imagine it would? Still, you could fill an entire town with all those people🙂

For bedtime reading I always go for a book book, not a GN, because otherwise it’s like taking your work to bed 😁

Great to hear! Do you have these already?

Interestingly, I read a thread recently and most people in it were saying their kids prefer to read comics on paper as opposed to screens. Wondering if that’s a reflection of the wider world or of that particular group. But it was good to hear.
