Trends have already shown that more and more players are mostly playing older games or forever games, and it just seems extremely foolish to heighten the entry barrier for new blockbuster games, when people are already moving away from them.

The cost of the games going up that much wasn't a surprise, but still sucks. Way more annoying than the price of the console imo. And I still can't help but think that the move to higher starting prices for games is gonna be a detriment to the companies in the long run.
