It is for many; it's ubiquitous.
For me, I intentionally kept my friends list to about a dozen. What was hardest for me to lose was the info from the groups for my various hobbies.
I recognize my approach was not common, however.

My region does not have an orthopaedic hand specialist. There is one 90 minutes away, but I must settle for a generalized ortho for surgery on my dominant hand. Does he even do the surgery I need, regularly? Does he do the current, state-of-medicine version? If not, can/will he refer me to /3

I do enjoy experiencing other cultures, but as a neurodivergent person, I learned on my first transatlantic flight that long-distance travel would not be feasible for me. It took everything I had to make it through the trip home.

Not my style, either, but we have a BIL who conceivably could die in the not-too-distant future. I have told my spouse that if she needs to go see her sister in the US, she will not be permitted to bring her cellphone, period. I won't accompany her, because I can't lie to save my life.

There are some individuals in the US that I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire in front of me, but the list isn't all that long. I think most of us aren't blaming the 'everyday Americans' who didn't vote for him.
But, I am still avoiding giving my money to businesses south of the border.

We've been without carrots for a couple weeks because all that is available in the local stores comes from the US, and with all the changes/monitoring reductions, I no longer feel safe eating produce from the US.

IMO, right now the primary issue is re-tooling our nation to not be dependent on the US. I am willing to let other issues take a back seat until that has been addressed That said, I have communicated, via a survey, my desire for electoral reform to be addressed at the earliest opportunity.
