He does! I have tried letting him peek in and sniff around, tried locking him out of the room entirely, tried getting one of my kids to distract him if they are over, but he's convinced it's the end every single time.
I cannot imagine what he'd ever do if I ever got water on him.

Seriously. I read this and said "oh no, what now?"

One thing I will give Sun Tzu: for millennia, he has inadvertently tricked douchebags into self-identifying by quoting him to justify all sorts of nonsense.

I am legit surprised they don't have a line of ethically sourced artisinal vanilla-jasmine scented bear spray.

Because it was wrong. Duh. I said it in the post. I had a weak moment.

I do too, but they tried me today. I'm going on a short trip and had to check everybody and my three obt ladies were, how shall i put this delicately, jackasses.

Please accept this Nerf pic for good luck. He is 16 lb of pure love and mild confusion.

Musk doesn't have allies. He uses people like tools to gain whatever he wants and he has no problem trashing his tools.
Courting him and expecting a net gain is like being excited to be the top frog in the blender.

Agreed. I would however love to see a yearly cage match between billionaires, but only with peace and prosperity for all the rest of us in between.

I took one day off the internet and of course it was today

I definitely get the wacky perception where items look like they are several centimeters away from where they actually are. I've never had anything flip right to left or top to bottom on an axis on me though! That must be wild!

Oh you chose so well! That is one of my favorite series and that particular volume is my comfort book.

You want to expand the tent to include those who actively work to harm the people already in the tent.
(In case it isn't clear, that is bad.)

Normal people oppose fascism directly and without hesitation or hemming and hawing about popularity. Normal people care about human rights. Normal people want the dems to actually stand up for oppressed minorities like they used to pretend they would. Normal people want dems to be more progressive.

Every individual person who starts to question will fear speaking up or be spoken over if they do.
Those local leaders have every incentive in the world to keep their power, dissuading dissent and cultivating an insular community.
This is one of the most difficult problems of humanity.

Accepting and admitting to being scammed is very difficult. Further, we aren't talking about individuals but rather entire communities, including local leaders also using racism and xenophobia to garner power.
You're asking people to walk away from their entire support systems in many cases.

This is the key. Some Trump voters might not personally have the stomach for violence but they are fine with somebody else being violent as long as it doesn't affect them personally.

I oscillate back and forth. I want my garden and some chickens and goats in a city.

This is also what I saw and I was trying to figure out if I should post it and then I thought no nobody should post such a thing but then here you are! I posted this so you didn't feel alone.

Does this particular sport increment the score by ten with each achievement? If not, this seems sad for the team with the lower score.

This airlock method of rehousing allows the tarantula to move into the new enclosure when they desire. It also reduces stress, risk of injury and escape and general mayhem moving speedy species.
This psalmopoeus reduncus was ready to move in immediately. I'll pull out their old home later.

A few of the new enclosures each with an old enclosure in it. I love this method because there is zero stress for spider!

The jumping spider image in the first picture is the best thing I have seen in years. I'm dying! ❤️

Yeah, we're into year three with Gertrude. I can lift her these days and she won't panic, but the giant snuggles were a LOT, the poor girl!

This is where Garbanzo Elizabeth Bean judges others and plots her evil deeds. She and Fizbit would get along swimmingly. (Or not. Banzo is a jerk to other cats.)

My father has been telling me for decades that as I get older I will finally become conservative like him. When I hit 50 a few years back I pointed out that I was still no closer to becoming conservative and that he might consider the idea that he's an asshole and I'm not.
