I can't see what Musk could have on Trump. Epstein files are a joke considering the long list of others (Clinton for one). Hope he takes Elmo down like the Tony Saprano he is (which is not a complement for a POTUS).

I personally have a hard time distinguishing between someone who is high as a kite and someone who sounds and looks like cretin.

The real issue is, with his size, overdoes is harder to achieve

Bookmarks for heavens sake. Not sure why this is an issue. Otherwise amazing and would be really a pity if it died.

100 agreed. At the moment it seems to have attacked only a certain kind of crowd though there are some notable exceptions like @montanaskeptic.bsky.social . Having said that I really hope it doesn't die and it has serious potential.

If you like to customize, there really isn't a choice. Iphones are great because they just work, but if you are more computer literate, the fact that it prevents you from customizing things just right, will annoy you.

Brilliant article. Glad for staying with WSJ today.

I for one won't believe a word he says either way 🤣. "If his lips are moving, he's lying".

This CLEARLY need to be reconsidered by the EU.

Friend of Musk. All I needed to know.

This point makes sense. Then again, the clown has turned this world upside down.

Correct, editorial board. You've got my on Thedispatch. ;-), which I gladly read instead of the EB or the WSJ. They are coming around, but way too slowly IMHO.
comment in response to

I was going to cancel my WSJ subscription last week. I've been completely disgusted with the EB. While cancelling they offered 2 euro/month, so I kept it for now. I'm glad I did. Thank for pointing this out. Mars of course is the goal because it is completely vaporware. It's his domain.

That is THE key question which I would love an answer to.

Probably the most amusing part is he thinks that some sort of equilibrium will be reached after the 2'nd. It will be interesting to see how long it will take for him, and others like him, to finally get their head out of the sand.

China has been going to natural gas trucks for a reason. Color me skeptical.

Agreed. I doubt the demand for moving potato chips around is that high.

How appropriate. He's going to buy the rich man's golf cart to add to his collection.

I guess one more golf cart won't make a difference

And then Dems wonder how they lost. There are plenty of us who have the live and let live attitude but don't want this stuff shoved down our throats. How odd.
comment in response to

If your comment is meant to mean that he has destroyed the Republican party, agreed. Then again, he wouldn't have been voted in a second time if the Democrats were the democrats of old (think Bill Clinton).

Well, considering the amount of water it will take to put out the fire, seems like a wise choice.

OK, I can't read. 30,000 MW they've added, not coal plants. Either way, it dwarfs the rest of the western world so I really am not sure how they actually manage to produce less CO2 per MW.
comment in response to
post
Well, then the information here, globalenergymonitor.org, and this in particular docs.google.com/spreadsheets... is false?
I don't see the US building over 30,000 new coal plants in 2024, or any other western country. In fact it's been 10 years since the US has built a coal power plant.
comment in response to

replaced by coal. China has to import it's oil, this has nothing to do with being "green"
comment in response to

What is yet to be seen is if they can build sustainable bombs and what CO2 tax they should pay (based on before or after the explosion).

Found this on the other site and it pretty much sums up the situation.

Are you sure there isn't just another 10 years of FSD and colonizing Mars arriving next year? I mean, up till now, it isn't like he is really coming up with new techno-fantasies, just regurgitating the golden oldies.
comment in response to
post
Common sense would tell you nothing "green" goes from 0 to 100km/hr in around 3 seconds and weighs nearly 2000KG. But then again, anyone with common sense realized that Elmo was a clown/fraud from the beginning.
comment in response to

we're here and completely disgusted. The true RINOs are in charge.

And yet, the EB of WSJ, have fallen hook, line and sinker for this clown show. Baker wrote a fantastic Op Ed piece this week (🤡), where he seems to have declared he has no idea where the name DOGE came from. So sad ....

Either that or he'll be a dick like his dad

I was really tempted to short again, but I've learned my lesson. Eventually it will be 0, but sadly I'm sure I am unable to time it.

Beyond the admiration for this genius, a cretin's idea of a genius to be precise, I think it's the idea that by owning Tesla you're also owning twitter, xAI, spaceX etc.... (all losing money but pumped as huge successes). That's my 2 cents. That and most likely stock manipulation.

Exactly why EV's are a joke as far as "saving the planet" is concerned! The one good thing, as I always tell my wife, is that finally I can toss regular batteries in the common bin without guilt

What I found interesting was after deciding not bring those to astronauts down, they capsule landed without issues. Around the same time a crew from the dragon capsule landed with the crew 'ill'. No reason given as to what or why (at least when searched last).

Do you have some article which confirms this about starliner? I've suspected as much but haven't seen one.
