please continue supporting this right-wing propaganda outlet because their crossword is occasionally an interesting distraction from the apocalypse they're manifesting

The conservative movement is lying about basically every empirical "debate" of our time, from climate change to voter fraud to vaccines. Why is it so impossible for reactionary centrists to contemplate the possibility they're lying about trans healthcare too?

They’re singing Hamilton songs and ‘Lean On Me’ at the last Pride flag raising. I’m not crying, you’re crying… I’m so sorry about the world at the end of the dirt road that takes you back out of here, kids. And so glad you’ve had this joy. See you next year, Camp Indigo Point.

Chronicling the last day of Camp Indigo Point today…

I hope someday I get to meet @theradr.bsky.social so I can thank her for raising awareness about this amazing camp that changes so many lives.

The number of people I otherwise care for who nod in agreement with this statement but also post their mf wordle…

If anyone you know is 13-24, in the US, and is LGBTQ+, please have them complete the Trevor Project survey this year. Their last survey has been integral to protecting LGBTQ+ rights globally. I can't understate how big an impact it has. Multiple publications come from the data. Share widely.

I don’t need to tell anyone that I abhor NYT, but if you need a refresher why:

been saying this for like 3 years now, the core constituency of the "manosphere" is not Gen Z or teenage boys, it is 35-55 year old dudes who wish they were still teenage boys

Every review of youth gender medicine is just, "there's evidence that this helps and no evidence that this causes harm, but here's why that doesn't count."

This has been studied extensively: Regret rates for gender affirming care, including for children, are extremely low. A core tactic of conspiracy theorists is to ignore existing bodies of research and demand further study until they get the result they want.

We simply had to intentionally destroy the world’s strongest economy while dismantling our scientific and educational infrastructure to ensure that a team with a trans girl would never finish second place in the Mountain West volleyball standings again

As a baby Senate intern in the late 90s, I stood on the floor in that chamber and took in the gravity of it. @booker.senate.gov takes us all there right now. Thankful for him and his staff.

@nytpitchbot.bsky.social 🙃

Which is a better band name: Salt Typhoon or Some Light War Crimes? Discuss.

Between the unsecured bombing chats and eliminating FEMA and trafficking legal residents to foreign labor prisons and supermaxxing measles and halting cancer research, it’s so hard these days to guess how you’re gonna die

Live from the WI Capitol, we’re here to debate gender affirming care… again… when @govevers.wisconsin.gov will veto. They know what they are doing. The cruelty is the point.

Thank you, @repgwenmoore.bsky.social

Musk has now poured $8.3 million into buying the tie-breaking Wisconsin Supreme Court seat for Brad Schimel. That is vastly more than any other single donor—to eliminate a state-level check on his and Trump's power. Help us fight back and elect Susan Crawford: PeopleVMusk.com

If you have been looking for a tangible way to support LGBTQ+ kids, this is the way. We will have a 3rd year camper this year. Life changing.

What if the egg shortage is just a scheme to keep us from throwing them at Swasticars?

Whether it's the most powerful man in the world threatening to imprison journalists or kids at Oberlin asking for trigger warnings, illiberal speech norms abound on both sides.

Hey NYTimes — *now* you’re lighting the beacons? NOW?!? After months of “Sauron: Avatar Of Evil… Or Extreme Uniter?” thumbsucker reporting you’re screaming what we’ve known since 2015? Fuck all the way off.

Local government is already underfunded. The shared revenue bill didn't go far enough (and its unfunded mandates are problematic) If the GOP actually wanted to do this, they'd include funding. But instead, it seems like they're just trying to score political points. www.jsonline.com/story/news/p...
