I’m hanging out at the last day of Camp Indigo Point. Tomorrow they get their phones back and learn about what SCOTUS did while they were having Queer Prom. We also start fundraising to make the magic happen again, no matter what, next year form-renderer-app.donorperfect.io/give/ashrei-...

I don’t think I’ve commented to you personally before, but thank you for your unrelenting eye on this. And for all the podcasts, of course.

And during Pride Month. NYT has been dead to me for a long time, but this is just icing on that awful cake.

I refer to what non-Christians have to do btw Halloween (or earlier) and New Years (or later) as ā€˜performing Christmas.’ You know what I mean, but to others… it’s the concerts and the parties and the saying ā€˜Merry Christmas’ back rather than being pedantic and so much more. And it’s tiresome.

Greetings from Milwaukee where, same. Nothing like a state Supreme Court race funded by Musk just weeks after the inauguration!

That is some niche humor, especially for those of us within a stone’s throw of said county!

I hope someday to meet you, dear Pitchbot, so I can thank you for making my day so many times. Long live Oberlin, the banh mi drama, and my personal boycott of NYT for how they cover the trans community amongst other grievances ā¤ļøšŸ’›

This happened to me and G in 2020, I couldn’t sign his and we had to go in early COVID times to a neighbor. I believe we left it in the middle of his driveway, he walked to the ballot to sign it and walked away. And then maybe we waved to each other. Strangest of time.

Still getting creditors for the person who had my number last in 2011! I looked her up as well and use a play on her name now when I have to give a name for a random reason. She’s my Regina Phalange.

I keep my TBR and streak counting in Fable but my books finished in StoryGraph as well bc they tell me different things about my literary consumption and somehow I need that data? #virgo

If you’re just dropping the Oberlin references now to make me happy in this bleak timeline… it’s appreciated.

This camp has been a life giving, life changing place for my daughter. Thank you so much for boosting the signal!

And guess what? Look for a sports ban and pronoun/preferred name at school ban bills this week in WI and next week another stab at outlawing GAC, all which our gov will veto, all which make awesome ads against my kids before the Apr 1 election!

The absence of ā€˜fewer,’ generally, and the overuse of the not-always-quite-correct ā€˜less.’

As an alum and parent of a current Obie, I’m always here for the Oberlin name drop. Thank you for the smile this bleak morning.

Elon is a terrible president.

Seriously, journalists do not have to validate a demonstrably false claim. The KKK is not a public safety organization. The 2020 election was not stolen. DOGE is not about efficiency. Do not repeat the lies.
