it feels weird to say a game with a 97 metacritic is underrated and yet ... between the long shadow cast by BotW and also the internet's need to constantly "reevaluate" everything popular, I do think it's sorta taken for granted just what a masterpiece Odyssey really is

fwiw I don't really think a shadowdrop is happening, but I also think more and more publishers are deciding a full marketing blitz just isn't an expense they really need if they think a game's main demo is "plugged in enough"
for instance, a shadowdrop definitely didn't hurt the Oblivion remaster
