Brian and Bryan look great. Wilma Flintstone looks a little uncomfortable though.

Does the US have traffic cameras that detect phone use while driving? We have them here in Australia, and while it doesn’t fully prevent the problem, it does have a beneficial effect. streetsmarts.initiatives.qld.gov.au/initiatives/...

The false argument that both sides are equally bad, only helps the fascist cause.

I love that ocean map. So much so that when I bought the book, I specifically shopped around for an edition that had that cover! But readers, trust me that Blue Machine is a magnificent book no matter what is on the cover.

Too many words in that first sentence. Try: It’s deeply troubling that prayer was allowed in the House of Representatives this morning.

We saw this too. It was glorious. Just as we were sending pics to some friends, they were sending us their pics of the sky at the same time. Dazzling colours.

Still packs a punch today.

More representation for ordinary people is always a good thing. But I doubt that a party formed by a Nazi-saluting world’s-richest-man will ever represent ordinary people.

I had completely forgotten that Leslie Nielsen was in this. I hope one of his lines was ‘surely you can’t be serious’.

Ha ha ha ha. “High agency males”?? More like undeveloped and over privileged man-babies having tantrums and demonstrating why it would have been better to have elected an actually functioning human like Kamala Harris.

Maybe it’s possible to inherit a scam tax-dodging company disguised (poorly) as a church. Just sayin’.

Cooking FOR someone is great. But cooking WITH someone is as woeful as 2 people trying to read one newspaper at the same time. Notable exception - cooking with kids to encourage good food habits. Otherwise, I’ll cook and I’ll call you when it’s ready 😀

This is the infantilisation of the workplace. It’s damned dreadful and very counterproductive.

Wow, Peterson has nothing. Absolutely nothing. He gets nailed on his failed reasoning and the best he can do is “don’t be a smart ass”. Which is just his code for “please stop pointing out the giant flaws in my argument “.

The one and only lesson is - do not read the Telegraph.

Do you mean Average Intelligence? No, I don’t think so.

The idea that rich people would go and not pay their taxes somewhere else, is not the gotcha point they seem to think it is.

It’s not a matter of opinion, and it’s already been determined by the International Criminal Court. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interna...

Not even a real story. Photo is a stock image which can be seen on this other non-related website. It’s pure clickbait by the Telegraph. carescenter.ucla.edu/strengthenin...

So investment in gas increased by “only” 15%. So sad that they’re not getting richer fast enough. Ask a nurse/teacher/cleaner/cook etc how much their wages increased last year.

There is nothing less masculine than having to go round explaining how very masculine you are.

You may say shonky but they look fantastic to me!

This appears to be an invented story, using a Shutterstock image. It’s a clickbait trap. This “news” source does not exist to report facts, but to generate clicks, rage and therefore advertising income. Best ignored completely.

And a great irony is that farmers are currently suffering real damage right now from climate change and the Nats are complete climate deniers. The Voice was never a threat to them. The actual threat is washing away their livelihoods this very minute.

Ooh, beers then port. That has ended badly for me in the past. 😄

We need to point out that employers like Bezos want stuff - particularly human labour - for as close to free as possible. They are the ones who are parasitising the economy by underpaying for the very thing that makes them rich. It’s a form of legalised theft.

That would make the Libs (to use one of their own favourite slurs) “soft on crime”. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interna...

We must not let these things be forgotten. Along with Barnaby’s stated opinion that if you’re a Greens voter, it doesn’t matter if you burn to death in a bushfire. This is the moral vacuum of the climate deniers.
