This is actually the trial balloon for my pivot into building robots that are 50% t-shirt cannon, 50% spite

Tbh if I’m speculating, I’d guess that’s *the* fault line between folks who can be turned back to reason and those that can’t

Yeah this is at least half the incarnations of The Master tbh

If you want into a queer women's space and look around and go "All this focus on girly things is really invalidating to me, and it's actually TERFy and intolerant and frankly bigoted for this space to be woman-centric in any way." Why, then, my good individual, you deserve a swift kick in the dick.

🫂 shitty stuff I wish you'd never had to go through - all of us deserved a lot more care than we got around this stuff TBH this is part of how I found my way to butchfemme as an important part of my life - it's been nice to occupy a social position where the idea of me topping is absurd to most

100% - I was trying to generalize a bit, but yeah, for me it was the first decade and a half as well. And then the added trauma of the first lesbian I dated after transitioning pulling the exact same shit on me.

For example, it would be ridiculous for me, a dark-haired Italian-American woman, to hold myself to the body hair standards of some blonde nordic goddess. That's absurd! A more appropriate comparison is my own little sister, who is also a short, dark-haired Italian-American woman.

Shoutout to the Michigan state troopers who failed to intervene and refused to get me medical aid while I had an obvious severe concussion despite literally watching my ex-partner all-out wail on my head while I desperately tried to escape. Y’all are truly the standard for cops nationwide.

Similarly, I don’t think that the first cis lesbian I dated after transitioning constantly pushing me to get more butch, and then physically assaulting me when I refused, was a coincidence either. I think some folks just hate trans women being feminine, and are willing to violently enforce that.

Forever the one person in a nice dress in a room full of much more senior men in cargo shorts

Oh my! Stunningly cute tbh!

Behind every DC mugging, there’s a contemplative silver lining that might also be signs of a concussion

I mean it mostly sucked because I was also, you know, getting mugged. But an interesting thing to noodle on while my housemates at the time patched me up!

In fairness: I did not have many to begin with! Lemme tell you, pre-transition, it was really interesting to get mugged and pick up on confusion from the muggers when they realized the long haired curvy-waisted person they rolled up behind also had a beard

Several straight girls to me before transitioning: “it’s too much like dating my bestie” Like yeah girl was that not the point? No? Anyway lesbian married now, glad that all got cleared up but WOW big mindfuck while it was happening

“being told you like men too much like a girl does by gay men” 🤝 “being told you like girls too much like a girl would by straight women”

My secret to success is that I actually like a lot of the flower prints tbh - got lucky there

If I’m going to be responsible for a hunk of metal, I want it to go slow, like a sculpture I’m only half sure of the meaning of, placed in the front yard of a middle class person in Connecticut who wants to fancy themselves an art collector

But what *is* a midsize car? A big truck with small doors? A bicycle with a jet engine? I know nothing about cars other than that it is harrowing to be legally responsible for a giant hunk of metal that’s supposed to go fast
comment in response to post
What if we defined midsize as “impossible to find clothes in your size in-store unless you REALLY REALLY like flower prints”
