Second, what possessed someone who doesn’t even know me to think they can speak to me and attempt to humiliate me like that? It’s an acceptance and a deeply ingrained attitude to our area and a pejorative prejudice. Scousers have a chip on their shoulder. Fucking right I do you Manc gobshite.

He was lucky I was with my Mrs because I had to measure my response. Two points, next time the purple wheelie bin ultras call me a wool, I get the same abuse you do and I NEVER play the Wirral card, scouse is an identity and culture that transcends the Mersey. I’m proud of it and I’ll defend it.

A rest for the main lads and Szoboszlai getting minutes and most contentiously from me to you, an indication on why Danns should be higher in the pecking order than Nunez. He won’t be here next season. He knows it, we know it, unfortunately, and I mean unfortunately, he’s out of road and it shows.

Well we got to see Rio, which despite him doing well hopefully dampened some of the unrealistic hype around him. Today was about making that step up. He did it. Chiesa either giving us something to remember him by or staking a claim for a very important second half of the season?

I wasn’t thinking about his fitness or resting him, I want to see Danns down the middle and hey presto!

I’ve not looked deeper into your tweet or what it’s about but I remember going to Derbies with blue mates stood next to me on the Kop. My father is blue, I would have grown up one where it not for divorce. His other two lads are blues. The bitterness over the last 25 years is ridiculous.

I’m old school like that too.

What I’m particularly looking forward to is the invasion of Canada. The Canucks need a kick up the arse in relation to their neighbours, especially my father who lives in Cornwall, Ontario, right on the border. Let’s see how much you love Trump now DaddyšŸ˜‚

If you’re going to go mad every time he opens his mouth you’ll end up insane. Just accept we’re now living in a game show, run by billionaires and we’re not that far off Squid Games and you’ll be fine. Just brace and move through it with ease.

There was a light element of leg pulling with me there. My aunty is the same šŸ˜‚

That’s not very Christian, abusing your open hearted invite to lunch as a pretext to get you to do stuff! šŸ˜‚

Was it Mark Twain who said I don’t wish anyone dead but I’ve read a few obituaries with great pleasure….

I wasn’t referring to you mate. More people in the crowd.

If he was getting abuse that’s outrageous. If people are unhappy they should keep their mouths shut before they derail a title challenge by abusing key players.

His lazy pass out for the goal was just one example. Slot has been onto it, mentioning his concentration and inconsistency before. It’s just we’re not used to criticising him. This patchy form is nothing new. Sign (my preferred option) or don’t sign. Bradley isn’t Hollywood but he’s dependable šŸ‘

I’ve often seen Trent suffer from lack of concentration, over confidence and slack passing. He’s more than prone to the hit and hope that sometimes miraculously comes off. I thought his assist at Spurs was one of them and I was shouting FFS Trent until I saw what developed.

If the Shankly/Paisley comparisons are right, Slot will get rid soon. Paisley always said as per @markheytch1968.bsky.social let them lose their legs on someone else’s pitch. Slot is ruthless. He’ll see it. The Greek may get a run.

I’m not going to tell you what I was screaming when he had hold of Amad at the end. Maybe if he’d gotten that close for the goal….

I think that’s the most reasonable take. I think he loves the club and fans too much not to bend where necessary and the club know there would be a mutiny if they didn’t bend too.

Mate have you sent out the Liverpool Green away for next season yet?
