The two big YouTube channels have been trying to explain this to their subscribers, like reports that Lincoln, IL doesn't have a tech on-site anymore to fix their radar, and most of the comments are something to the effect of, "That’s ok, we watch your radar anyway."

That song, even though it's such a great cover, bums me out now. I remember when the original came out. That last verse, "My generation will put it right / We're not just making promises that we know we'll never keep" hits much differently knowing that it turned out to be false.
