The feds kidnapping and trafficking people is a violent crime. Protesting it is fighting back against abuses of power. The government claiming protestors started the violence is DARVO—Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender. It’s what abusers do when they face consequences.

Hell yeah. and thank you. #Walz #Trans #MN

Literal kick in the coin purse.

Pretty sure the correct move here isn’t to make up lame excuses for paramilitary thugs that were running amok in you city. #minneapolis #ICE #thugs #policeriot #paramilitary

Chanting "shame" at them while doing this is perfect.

Currently reading. At The Table is a great primer for anyone looking to do any sort of advocacy work. #book #reading #katherinemiller #foodservice #chef

This is how it’s done! FRIDAY: South Park, San Diego, neighbors weren’t having it. When ICE rolled up on an Italian restaurant in unmarked cars and started grabbing workers, the community hit the streets. (Sound up)

Yay!

More like this please. This is fantastic messaging.

Currently reading. More sage advice from Margaret Killjoy. #steampunk #apocalypse

It was cold and rainy here last week, not so good for humans but the ferns loved it. #eauclaire #eauclairewi #woods #ferns

By day, I’m running for Congress. By night, I wait tables. I know what working-class Wisconsinites are up against — and I’m tired of us being ignored in D.C. That’s why I’m in this fight. Can you repost, follow, and help me defeat Derrick Van Orden?

One weird trick to not get compared to the gestapo: don’t act like them. #ICE #gestapo

my “not the gestapo” shirt is raising a lot of questions already answered by my shirt and if you don’t stop asking them, i’ll have you disappeared.

Yay, 10 days in a row off!

This is rather good. And yeah, that a person in their early 80’s might need some sort of mobility aid in the near future isn’t news. @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social

this is a letter to the editor from a high school track runner who came in second to a trans girl in a race. her state house rep in maine started talking about it. so she wrote this: www.pressherald.com/2025/05/14/r...

Rachel Cohen (the lawyer who quit very publicly for ethical reasons) is working on an email campaign to get executives with law firms who capitulated to Trump removed from boards. You can find it here (it's a drive link) drive.google.com/drive/folder...

Just signed the lease for another year on my apartment. It was 42 pages long, sign here, initial there, for 42 pages. For a studio apartment (built in 1963) in a college town. The world has truly lost its mind.

Why does Medicaid have at least 85% support in every CD? Because Medicaid funding supports useful stuff in our communities. See previous post for context.

I want a political party, could be the Democrats could be someone else, that does useful stuff. The political and social left, center, and right are all, at least theoretically, capable of doing useful stuff.

The Mississippi Commercial Fisheries United Inc. accused the Mississippi Legislature of "an unconstitutional private leasing scheme" that "would unjustly exclude our current oyster fishing families from their direct access to harvest from reefs that they rely upon for their livelihoods.”

The biggest story on June 14 won’t be Trump’s birthday parade in DC — it will be what happens everywhere else. We’re taking to the streets on No Kings Day with events planned in all 50 states. Please join us for this national day of defiance: www.nokings.org?SQF_SOURCE=i...

Fun fact. Every person wearing a mask in this video clocked into work.

Thank you and more like this, please.

A good summation

Yay!
