You had one job.

Wayne Rooney doing a great job on the BBC punditry of sucking all of the atmosphere out of every single conversation.

Who would have guessed www.thelondoneconomic.com/lifestyle/su...

Can the second half and just spend it talking about the first half. LOVING THIS. Have VAR dropped two clangers already? SIDEBAR: The absolute atmosphere and vibes of the Palace fans has been immense. South London shining.

Absolute and ultimate limbs at the Stadium Of Light. My wife to be may well be heading to Wembley the weekend before the wedding…

If this carries on, Mark Williams will be cancelling his eye surgery and just cracking on as he is.

I’d love to see us sign players who can do what he wants. More pace. More players who are composed at the back. Someone up front who can hold it if necessary. Maybe someone else to help out coaching defensively. I’m rooting for him but he’s made errors.

I think if you look at where we sign players from, we’re where we should be. I’m not sure we had the players to play how Carrick wanted (especially after January), our defensive howlers all year show that. He’s also at fault for not offering alternatives to injuries and a one paced limp attack #utb

That is absolutely that. A better second half but still lacking punch. January recruitment leaving us far worse off than we hoped. #utb

Coventry creating problems out wide in a way we don’t look like doing with clever passing and confidence. Whittaker looks like a shadow up there, Howson stood too deep to allow Rudoni the free header… Need a rocket and some confidence injections. #utb

Regardless of whether we scrape into the playoffs today or not, this excellent section of writing by @jonathanliew.bsky.social is absolutely bang on. Boro are bang out of luck geographically, financially and chronologically. We’re probably doing well to be where we are. #utb

Power Game on repeat. Wore Boro shirt to Park Run. Will wear my childhood Boro sweatbands during the match. I AM DOING MY BIT #utb

My view on Starmer @mrjamesob.bsky.social is that he's the person the country needed after 14 years of chaos from the Conservatives And while policy ideas may be good, policy implementation has been a disaster eg WFA threshold being set too low Or 50k kids into poverty with welfare reforms

Sometimes a conversation with an aging parent can have absolutely zero focus on you and your life and a good 5 minutes of material from my mam on her cleaner’s step dad and how he functions without a stomach.

Starmer: "If you're a Tory voter who doesn't want a pro-Russia foreign policy, how does a merger with Reform work for you? If you're a Reform voter who thinks the Tories failed for 14 years, how does it work for you? Both sets of voters are being conned. It would be a disaster for the country." ~AA

I’m ready for there to be a line drawn in the sand and say no more poems prior to or after matches or sporting achievements especially if they do fast cutting between past/present footage. At this rate we’ll get some before the second legs of the playoffs.

A season in the Premier League would be absolutely grim whichever way you spin it. The excitement of the playoffs COULD still happen, I’d love us to grasp more opportunities and be more aggressive but there we are.

Been pointed out to me that AI will make up the back story to a phrase if you type one into Google and add the word ‘meaning’ at the end.

This is sort of magnificent. Concrete-growing tit & Oakeshott beaming in from Dubai (full of Easter Gardens, I'm sure), spent weeks claiming Starmer won't say a thing about Easter, bc he hates Christians, but now criticise him for doing Easter all wrong and implying he was forced to by advisers. 1/2

Liz Truss: 'i killed the Queen' JD Vance: 'hold my lettuce'

It’s hard to be sour at Leeds or Burnley getting back up, two more Northern teams in the Premier League again. Hard to ignore that their seasons next year will be ruthlessly grim by and large unless they spend unreasonably vast amounts of cash. Leeds perhaps best equipped to scrape up?

If we did scrape the playoffs, then magically went up, we could spend £200 million and still comfortably be relegated. Should have capitalised today but ahhhhh well.

Just a totally normal Easter message then.

An excellent piece on how Ipswich have pragmatically set about their Premier League return and how fans have pocketed this season for possible greater achievements in the long term. Being pragmatic and building for the future without busting the bank doesn’t have to feel negative.

If you’re a Tory, cover your eyes. Because as well as making lots of new laws, Labour is scrapping old Conservative ones too. 6 terrible laws going in the bin:

Villa fans, I think I speak for all Boro supporters when I say you simply need to find a way to get Massimo Maccarone on the pitch.

That Hull goal could be crucial for us… Three points at the weekend please #utb

Well, that missed putt means I’m going to be much later to bed…

I do feel for the bloke because he’s bang out of form, but I also just don’t think he fits in with our style of play. We thrive on connections and he’s not found any yet, and he’s not got the pace to stretch a defence. I think McGree plays there if fit.

Leeds are a very good side but we definitely had them rattled. Tanaka as excellent as he was at Elland Road and, as always, we look a bit shaky against pace and a good press. That said, we had as many decent chances as Leeds, we just needed to be more clinical. #utb

Leeds again showing they have a killer pass and finish in them… They should have had 3 but we’re still swinging punches… I think our hot spell deserved a goal once we’d settled into the second half but our finishing has been WILD. #utb

Two very even sides, Leeds the quicker, we seem more able to bypass them with a trick. Just need to take a half chance… COME ON BORO #utb Our disallowed goal was offside, their’s was not offside… Can we take that rub of the green?

We’re still absolutely in this, could have been 1-1, Leeds should have been 2 up but it still feels quite even. When we move it quickly, we can get in. Iling-Junior growing into his role, we need a killer ball from someone #utb

Why are they doing this quietly?

We expected 2,000 people out in GOP-held Greeley, Colorado. 11,000 people showed up. Something special is happening, folks. Now is the time to organize in every dimension possible and get to work.
