If the driver that hit me had been going 15 MPH faster I’d have been toast. I’m willing to try nearly anything to put an end to mindset that speed limits are merely suggestions that can be safely ignored at will.

Ok, for pre-tied that’s a pretty great bow tie!

It really is. Sitting around a firepit one night, where we’d been occasionally tossing our paper trash like cups and plates when we were done, my sister in law couldn’t get a lighter lit so she threw it right on in.
It was NOT empty.

I can relate. My hunny reads about old guys on dirt bikes and watches videos about trying to grow grass in a pine forest, and as far as he’s concerned that’s all the internet is for.

I don’t know but the report he’s referring to lists various worker compensation, but USPS uses FECA and almost never refers to Workers Comp like everywhere else I’ve worked.
If USPS were referring to it they still have to pay for something Congress controls their access to and coverage by.

Compensation to workers, not Worker’s Compensation insurance costs. And USPS isn’t your average employer in that a lot of things ARE out of their control, including rate setting and employee benefit valuations (Congress controls).
They’re expected to be self supporting like a regular biz though.

I talked my partner into a pair of specialized como e- bikes and it’s his first truly upright bike. Internally geared, all the cables routed in the frame, and step through too. So simple and comfortable he loves it.

In addition, the states rights issue that lead to the eventual war was the Fugitive Slave Act, which compelled free states to return escaped slaves to their “owners”. The South did not support state’s rights, the opposite actually.

And housework! My youngest daughter had 2 kids and considered more, largely because her partner does an equal share of childcare. And he does all the cooking and grocery shopping.
I’m sure it also helps that he respects her career, friendships and hobbies.

Not me, but I have a friend who has several old Audis he has fixed up in a quest to put an extra 100k miles on them. He went directly from skateboarding to work to a stable of rescued Audi.
He also has too many huskies. There’s a pattern there.

Another area is true crime and scams podcasts. Lots of women discussing police failures and how terribly victims are treated, the imbalance of justice and competence in enforcement.
Even when they aren’t openly left-leaning they often end up on that slant.

I’ve tried this. It’s very okay.
Warm it slightly though, otherwise the texture is more like a popsicle.

As someone currently driving home 1800 miles, on day 3, I really wonder if they understand the scale. Like actually. Close to 3000 kilometers and still not even close to the capital.

Hypothetically, if you found yourself a deputy in NSA and confronted with this particular clown car of incompetence, and all the IGs had been fired, and needed a whistle… would you maybe get creative?

My dad’s barber retired and “the kid” who took over raised the cost of his haircut $1. For the next 22 years my dad complained about that dollar while I cut his hair.
The kid was 40, btw.

We aren’t disagreeing. I’m saying it will also become a big problem for the news. You might be right that their initial coverage will be muted.
But yes this population has a lot of free time, long memories and hold grudges.

No, it won’t. These are the people who call television and radio stations. Retirees fill town halls and follow the local representatives in and out of their offices.
It might be a slow burn getting started. They won’t be ignored for long.

Definitely Buldak hot chicken is spicier, and then Buldak 2x.
The Shin are better noodles and Shin black taste better tho less heat. But I grew up with Korean food so I’m not sure if my judgement can be trusted.

Well, there’s some real news. Our portfolio is half our retirement income and the news says they’re going to cancel the other half. So we pulled out of the market.
Because the other news says that NONE of the business projections included the tariffs Trump has been promising for the last year.

Ok great. How much time do you spend getting through to the electorate? Because you are really missing a key element here.
Most people I’m trying to get through to live in an alternate reality. They can see empty shelves and high prices. Trump take egg is a great opening to deprogram them.

No, you cite a single case that successfully sued paper for words printed on it.
