Shame the other two on there then went on to try and mitigate it and then make it about how Ange shouldn't respond to these things and just looks to pick fights. It's pathetic really and I'll not listen again.

Not even close to the worst.

He's become a liability. Sad to see really.

65. Tiny bit too early for me but he's been excellent
comment in response to post
He sometimes gives me big joelinton/Nunez vibes when he's like this. Strong, quick and powerful but an absolute state in front of goal
comment in response to post
Really brilliant, and to be fair brave, decision to leave Son out and play him. He's playing a blinder out there.
comment in response to post
If Richarlison can get us to 70-75mins then throw Son on and just ask him to burn through his whole tank in 15mins
comment in response to post
As @barditei.bsky.social says, richarlison is the only player that will get in the mud and battle. He loves these kind of battles.

Exactly what I was thinking. Some of the defending has been poor but it's not been that bad.
comment in response to post
Yet still better than a fair few of the teams that have rolled us over.
comment in response to post
The problem generally isn't that we look bad in games it's that we will have a fair amount of ball, probe without actually causing much problem but then we are so open teams go from their own goal to our net in the blink of an eye. Rinse repeat.

We certainly are

I also don't understand why people want computers and AI specifically to take over the fun things in life. Art, making films, books. Like, their the fun things for people to do, make and consume. Can't we just leave AI and computers to do the things that are boring?
comment in response to post
You aren't supposed to understand it. It's too high concept for us mortal fans who aren't plugged into some big data matrix where results don't matter. All you need to do is trust the process.
comment in response to post
I mean yeah the 5th is great and he did well to do it but he only won 8 of the last 19 last season so his record over a season and a half is quite frankly dreadful.
comment in response to post
Its amongst the worst loss totals in our history. But goal difference or something is more important.
comment in response to post
The thing is wolves are so bad it's not beyond the realms we pulls this back but it wouldn't change my opinion. It's been crap for ages. Think some fans were so traumatised by conte and Jose they think ange is some Messiah. And before someone says it I know he's not the only problem at the club.
comment in response to post
We've had some truly bad teams since the start of the prem but this is on course for our worst ever league finishes. in terms of losses, it's around some of our worst in history. But yeah something about bad luck, goal difference and injuries.
comment in response to post
Honestly the mental gymnastics some of the cult of Ange go through to excuse one of our worst league seasons ever is crazy. To point it out makes you some sort of football luddite. I'm not having the injury thing either. Even with the injuries it should have been better than this.
comment in response to post
Hey they could win away but especially with that second half this feels like a a chance missed we will be made to pay for
comment in response to post
Ange must know this cup is his only lifeline. Not being decisive with subs (88th minute Richy?) is something I can't understand
comment in response to post
I'm at three corners we should have had which were given as goal kicks I think. Baffling
comment in response to post
No I don't think so. It's more the fact we effectively have ten men when he's not scoring.
comment in response to post
They could have made us pay at the end there though
comment in response to post
I don't think it's that I think it's a messy press leaves massive holes everywhere so moving it through us is miles too easy. Happens all the time.
comment in response to post
Same old shite. Three simple passes from their third and we are outnumbered in our third. Happens constantly in virtually every game.
comment in response to post
Me neither. He's never been one for great strength, touch and passing and i feel the loss of pace only shows that up more.
comment in response to post
These has to be the end of him as a starter. He's regularly a rough watch
comment in response to post
Has to be the last season he's regularly starting.
comment in response to post
It always does though. All the goals we seem to concede are the same. Lose the ball, three passes later itsin our net. It's depressingly predictable
comment in response to post
Get in line. It's pathetic.
comment in response to post
It's pathetic really. Barring a couple these aren't kids we've put out. Look there's a long way to go so it's far from over but feel like we've seen this movie a hundred times before
comment in response to post
Can't we just keep it bloody tight to start a game for a change ffs
comment in response to post
Top of the order needs to start finding their HR swings otherwise this is going to end up another season undone by offensive anaemia.
comment in response to post
You have to be able to do more than that. If he's playing in a game he doesn't score in it's not far off the same as playing with ten men
comment in response to post
He's not good enough technically to be near the middle. He's massively helped on the goal front from arriving late from wide on a defenders blind side. If he's playing where a defender can see him I think he's too easily neutralised
comment in response to post
If you are then we both are. He's an excellent one touch finisher but generally poor at everything else. I want a wide man to beat their player. Johnson is an impact sub.
comment in response to post
If the UK isn't hoovering up the best of all these sackings it's a massive ball dropping
comment in response to post
He is brilliant at arriving late with one touch finishes and unfortunately not that great at much else. He needs far more to his game to start for a team with any kind of ambition. I do think however he's a great off the bench option if chasing and pressing for a goal.
comment in response to post
Was always going to happen after his Rio interview. Pride before fall and all that. Let's hope it's a one off. Udogie has had a regression year. Injuries and all that I get it but when he's played he's been poor
comment in response to post
Don't be acting like we didn't beat Bayern Munich in a cup final in 2019.....
comment in response to post
Fergie very nearly went as well. Was saved by a Cup. Fingers crossed the Europa league gets won and Ange end up as as successful as he was!
comment in response to post
Success brings stability. Fergie had two decent seasons before a midtable one then they kicked on from there. Wenger did the double in his second season. I don't know if he is the right one, but sticking by the wrong man isnt any better than changing. As long as we stick to a philosophy it's fine
comment in response to post
Thing is, I don't think stability comes from just sticking with a manager, I think real stability comes from having a proper football philosophy and identity that runs through the club and you recruit managers according to that. That way every manager isn't a reset it's part of progression.

It all feels like when you have MPs or political commentators who say controversial or dividing things/policies to throw red meat to a specific following safe in the knowledge you'll never have to govern and follow through with it. Maybe opposition suits her.
comment in response to post
When you lose as many as us that's a likely pattern
comment in response to post
In this game for sure but it's more of an overall view of Johnson since being at spurs
comment in response to post
I don't even feel he's a channel runner. Whenever he has the opportunity to run he doesn't. I also think you can't be a one trick pony at this level anymore. hes just not very good
