This says it all. "The more time we take, the more people find things they want to change." That is because it’s a terrible bill for the vast majority of America.

You are correct @casten.house.gov .... IMO there is too much money in politics and the ultra rich typically found their interests, from tax breaks to th elimination of regulations. ... Citizen United really needs to be overturned.

Isn't that the definition of treason?

So the President of the U.S. confers with the enemy about striking US interests. Isn’t that treason?

@astrokatie.com The Atlantic has a story exactly on what happens when incompetent people are allowed to make decisions in government. @yappelbaum.bsky.social refers to Iran as an example. … www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/...

Good for her. Now she needs to declare that she is an Independent and caucus with the Democrats. It’s then that her words will really matter.

The world is ready to explode but CNN is fixating on the marriage of the guy who is letting Democracy Die in Darkness.

That is great but I still find it worrisome that he has a 43% approval.

We all know how to fix this problem. Update the maximum amount of earnings subject to tax from $176,100 (2025) to a million dollars. Or even place a tax on capital gains. The Social Security fund would then be funded for eternity.

Sadly IMHO given the chance these people would still vote for him or sit out an election just like last November.

#NoKings made the right call staying away from DC. The parade itself told the complete story.

This is how the U.S.A functions in 2025, on his every whim. Let’s hope that we can last as a country (world?) these next four years.

He just wants a Nobel Peace Prize for no other reason than to rub in #43’s face. Nothing Nobel about that.

With all that is going and messages like this how the heck does the U.S. hold the Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028?

But instead of trying to save “Mother Earth” from the impacts of climate change and population we spend trillions dreaming of migrating to trash planet

@radiofreetom.bsky.social you are correct. It’s so sad that 90 million eligible voters did not vote. It simply amazes me even more so then the 77 million that voted for dear leader.

The one group that I have absolutely no sympathy for is ticket resellers. The losses that they incur from Caitlin’s absence is a drop in the bucket.

I can’t even imagine where the $3.42 increase from. One idea would be for the retailer to explain the increase in a line item, but then again that would take courage.

77 million voted for dear leader and another 90 million eligible voters chose not to vote. It’s an America citizen problem, nothing more nothing less.

Exactly @ronfilipkowski.bsky.social Biden was old and still is old nothing else matters. American needs to know.
Even if his successor wants to arm his supporters.

@markpotash.bsky.social great counter on Waldron “His quarterback made the Pro Bowl in all 3 of his seasons as the OC with the Seahawks.” … I am sure ‘Flus and Waldron will eventually have answer to the story, could get interesting. Let’s hope it’s all water under the bridge for the #Bears sake.

Wonderful article @pwsullivan.bsky.social . My dad introduced me Shoeless Joe and Black Sox when I was a kid. I still have his hard back copy of “Eight Men Out”. I always wondered what if Comiskey paid his players, would they have been better than the Yankees? I hope Shoeless gets into the HOF.

The Washington game after the bye could be a tell all about Johnson’s Head coaching style/abilities. In recent years and under several different coaches the #Bears have looked terrible after the bye week.
