I can’t read the whole article either but I like the sound of the opening paragraphs. Sounds revolutionary. Affordable lifetime tenancies, who’d have thought of that ? Hope it catches on 😉

Don’t spoil it for me, they are not due at Tramlines for another month or more.

What they never ask these fantasists is why would France want to take people back that don’t want to be there anyway. The French right wing don’t want the migrants anymore than our right wing want them.

But maybe they are relaying the summer beach at the Winter Gardens. Perhaps the sand was sold to the Council to fund the wages ? 😉

Yep. It was always going to end in tears when he bought us as a plaything.

A typical ‘try to get rich quick’, capitalist businessman, but not a very good one. Whoever got rich owning a football club ?

So basically good news. Which explains why the usual suspects don’t report it.

Yeah I’ve looked at an analysis of the accounts for his 10 years in charge and it’s been clear for years that he’s running out of money. So where we are today is no real surprise sadly. Sadly they show that in recent years the costs have been quite well controlled, he’s just not rich enough.

Wonder how many of that 51m were Ukrainian?

Maybe but I somehow doubt we will ever know the real picture. It’ll be in no one’s interest to do the forensic work involved in following the historic £.

Can EFL money paid to the Club be used to service personal debts of a shareholder ?
comment in response to

How does that work I wonder. If he has personal debts not secured against the Club surely he can’t use funds due to the club to settle them. I’m no accountant (thank god) but the accounts don’t appear to show anything hidden like that.

Yeah so I was thinking a final instalment at the end of the season is likely the only cash he will have until gate receipts for next season.

Sorry reply was meant for original Otto post. Not really surprising. Note to self: Don’t txt unless you’ve got your glasses on

Not really, it’s probably what the majority of their candidates and supporters actually think

Exactly right and the best players in the top Premiership teams are not English

You are right and the reason is simple. The players are/were not as good as we are told they are.

Hopelessly inadequate again. I’m old enough to remember a load of hype about a massive increase in council/social house building promised by Theresa May !! Seems like the current Govt. spinning the same yarn but not producing the clothes. So disappointing.

Locals here in Norfolk tell me a couple were bought by City bankers with last years bonus. Apparently you can rent one for £4k a month !!!

City keep him for couple of years, he progresses then goes for £10m like Charles. Shame we couldn’t keep him on professional terms and then get big money if he progresses.

My fear is £1.5m pays the wages and taxman, maybe a fee if Rohl goes soon, then with an instalment from the EFL it sees him through to July then gate receipts for the new season limps us to early bird S/T sales brought forward to December.
