I have enough petrol and other flammables stored on my property to start a very large fire. By your logic I could be charged with attempted arson without any evidence I have any malicious intent.

Media quiet on fact that the American "Christian" right is full of batshit mental "Dominionists" who believe in the book of Revelations as a literal prophecy of the end of the world and believe fervently that an apocalyptic war starting in the Middle East will bring the return of Jesus.

Yes. Or in other words they dont have a military nuclear programme and haven't for years.
The attack or Iran is a blatant distraction by an unhinged genocidal maniac.
comment in response to

Sorry we've been hearing for 20 years that Iran is weeks away from having nuclear weapons. Hearing it now from a mass murdeing psycho and a fascist wannabe dictator isnt exactly credible.

Not necessarily.
NHS budget going up because of improved services is good. NHS budget going up because of poor planning by government, money being wasted on privatised services and under the table BS like PFI and the general increase in the cost of everything caused by coporate greed is bad.

Can we also point that in 1985 Thatcher had been in power 6 years. All she was trying to rectify were her own mistakes.

One doesn't have to 'think' anything. There are established facts.
Farage's 'work' for fishermen is a matter of public record. His time as a member of the European Parliament Fisheries committee speaks for itself. He attended one meeting out of 42 in his three years on the committee.

Im not sure how your sick mind went from literacy to porn in schools. I just think it would be nice if adult Americans could read like functioning grown ups.

Not only in the US sadly. The British Conservative Party is full of first generation immigrants pushing policies that would have barred their parents from entering the UK.

When one sees shocking national stats like this... then considers the gulf between the best and worst states, one dreads to think what the literacy rates are like in the worst states. What proportion of adults in somewhere like Oklahoma are actually able to read at the level of a functional adult?

Me? A Christian Magat? Couldn't be further from the truth.
Just someone from the left who's sick of the hand-wring centrist bullshit from what passes for the left in the US that is actually the center right in every country that hasn't been inching towards fascism for 40 years.

OK. Just sit and pontificate. Typical wishy washy modern lefty bullshit which is why we are where we are.

Any poll like that needs to be understood alongside the fact that over half the population has the reading skills expected of an 11 year old at best.

Oh come now. Don't be coy. Thr implication of posting a picture of Musk with Maxwell next to a picture of Trump with Epstein is pretty obvious what you were getting at.

Musk is a weirdo and has undoubtedly done a lot of shady things. But I don't think we can go down the route of accusing everyone pictured within 2 feet of Epstein or Maxwell at some huge NYC social gathering of being part of their ring.
If there's other "evidence", I haven't seen it.
comment in response to
post
Much as I loathe Musk, having one's picture taken stood awkwardly next to someone at a social event doesn't automatically make one complicit in all their crimes. There are lots of photos and even quotes from Trump himself to implicate him in Epstein's and his own perversions.

This is the result of decades of "all taxation is theft" Libertarian BS. A nation in which over half of the population can't read like an adult.
But that was the plan. The right relies on the undereducated.

Many ancient myths and legends have stories of long lost heirs, I suspect they derived from historical accounts of usurpers looking to legitimise their claim to the throne.
Much like Moses probably stems from a story of a member of the Egyptian royal household becoming a leader of the israelites
