One of my biggest "not important in the scheme of things" grievances against Trump is how his bullshit made me turn on USA Hockey during the 4 Nations. I have a 96 Chelios jersey for fucks sake and I wanted Bill Guerin's team to pound sand. Go Oilers (but also fuck Evander Kane)

For those that care, that's a 2004 World Cup shirtsey of Vincent Lecavalier. Somehow this shirt has not faded even though Vinny is long retired (and still one of my favorite players)

One of my friends genuinely didn't know how to pronounce an Orangina when we brought a bottle to lunch. It kind of ruined that drink for us.

The part I don't get, isn't there a set of command level people who should know who they legally report to?

@repgaramendi.bsky.social Team sent me these videos of the walkout on the steps of the Capitol of many House and Senate Dems after hearing about Padilla. Shout out to Garamendi’s team cause not a single source I have can find the full video anywhere. Here is @pelosi.house.gov 4/

5. Make no mistake - Republicans are now using words like "lunge" and "charge" to describe Padilla. That is not what happened; it's literally on film. DO NOT let them get away with setting this narrative. Call it out. Demand corrections if you see it in the press e.g. write the NYT.

That Noem said she was there to liberate LA from its elected leaders and then her people attacked a Senator who is responsible for Congressional oversight of what DHS is doing in Los Angeles in his home town and on federal property cannot be left out of this story. bsky.app/profile/asha...

Here's another angle from Fox News reporter Bill Melugin of Sen. Alex Padilla getting roughed up by law enforcement after he tries to question Kristi Noem at her presser: “I’m Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary. Because the fact of the matter is, a half dozen... Hands off!”

Have there been any shifts back in the Latinx demographic over the past few months? I know there was data showing that the small-but-significant shift in 2024 was one of the main drivers of TFG's victory but I'm sure this isn't what they wanted.
