There is probably a G6 right now once Trump has left the room.

What is this "calls" thing?

Ist das im Katalanischen auch so? Da kommt er glaube ich her.

The British way is dd/mm/yyyy so I'm afraid your proposal is doomed.

comment in response to post
comment in response to post
comment in response to post

Diesel mostly. More than petrol. And hybrid might be counted separately as well.
comment in response to post
Not quite 50 per cent yet. Just more BEV than petrol. I think BEVs are a quarter or so just rising quickly obviously as almost all new cars are BEV.

If Russia had not withdrawn from New START, they would now have to leave the pieces of their bombers out in the open for 60 days. SCNR.

Oh no, what about your streak?

Close! "Nordseeheilbad" can be translated as "North Sea Spa Town", literally translated it would be "North Sea Healing Bath".

9/10. Got the Egyptian one wrong. Oops. Maybe with some more time I would have realised. The frog was also quite difficult and I wasn't sure I picked correctly. For the rest it felt fairly obvious.

I'm happy to make a negligible effort to increase usage of electricity from renewable resources.
comment in response to post
Wifi enabled washing machine and tumble dryer is quite nice in combination with a variable electricity price so that the best hours are automatically picked (if you want).
comment in response to post

It's not surprising to me. We generally have more fast chargers here in Germany than currently necessary so it is rare to see queues. The only times in 6 years I have seen high occupation (and a couple of times a queue) was on those chargers that happened to be the cheapest at that point in time.

It's probably the one-off investment cost for each kWh that can be stored.

Was going to ask this. Advantage of Redox Flow should be the ease of building large tanks. I would have expected something like 50 hours duration. Or is the liquid maybe too expensive for this as well?

It now does 565 days again interestingly, which is his maximum streak. Maybe a special setting for him.

Wonder whether he likes Lily, Junior or Zari most!

Not even full days. So he could have done a lesson as Robert before 16:30 on 7 May and then one as a Pope in the evening of 8 May. But as I showed in my other post he stopped using Duolingo in February 2024.

He was quite dedicated up to last February.

No smartphone during the conclave meant that he lost his streak and is at 0 days now. My commiseration.

comment in response to post

That does not help for Germany who didn't have this. Yes, all coal will need to be and will be turned off. Long-term, you can redesign all of this, medium term, it is difficult.
comment in response to post
None of the district heating systems were heated by nuclear power plants as far as I am aware. It's just a matter of acknowledging what exists and that in contrast to electricity you cannot simply turn off a coal fired power plant somewhere because you kept a nuclear power plant somewhere else.
comment in response to post
Talking about heat that gets used in district heating.
comment in response to post
Also not necessarily quite true as a non negligible number of coal fired power plants also produce heat and that cannot simply be switched off of another source of electricity is available.
comment in response to post

There is board game production in the EU. Unfortunately, even allied countries have been hit by tariffs.

They even prohibited Germany from passing to Ukraine the ammunition that they had already.
comment in response to post
"already". Yes, there will be some construction, but also look at the planned retirements.
comment in response to post
For 2024, this is true based on capacity. It will probably eventually also become true for production from newly installed solar.
comment in response to post
Calling it a plateau is kind of optimistic for France... I would expect the reduction in nuclear power production to continue over the next decades as less capacity is planned to come online than planned to be retired. Also utilisation will reduce to the buildout of renewables.

That's Markus Söder, the Minister President of Bavaria. He always has a very fancy costume for the carnival. Here's a few more: www.augsburger-allgemeine.de/bayern/bilde...

Don't they need votes from at least one state where another party other than CDU, CSU, SPD or Greens is in the government? Most likely Freie Wähler in Bavaria. Have they agreed?
