What was missing was the political will. And what we saw here was a horseshit idea by a drug addict billionaire, to wreck the govt he immigrated to, steal its data, shutdown depts investigating him, and laugh about how he was “fixing” things. 3/3

But it wasn’t inefficient that was absolute bullshit they were selling trying to find a buyer. It was running great. The inefficiencies that did exist had mechanisms in place to find and repair. What was missing weren’t inspector generals, or reports on improvements 2/3
