I literally just watched All Abiiiird on my lunch break. Didn't know I was doing so on its 75th anniversary

I've never seen a show with more teasers than Alien Earth, all different but still never telling you basically anything

Mantle of the knight has been my mainstay

It took me aaaaages to ever draw the Gallery, then a few goes to have any idea how to solve that puzzle, THEN it took me ages to figure out what to do with the key THEN it took ages for me to draw the Gallery and get to rank 8 in one run haha

I just want more of a checklist to know where to start looking for the peach coins etc. The ? blocks at least have a tally on each course

I managed the full house run the other day, finally. And just got to room 8 last night!

The SNES Jurassic Park. Road Runner: Death Valley Rally. The Itchy & Scratchy Game. Fucking GoldenEye??

Actually it's a prequel, so this is presumably the story about how he discovered the concept of Original Sin and shame

Actually this game is a prequel, so it implies he had a concept of shame originally but this tells the story of how he lost it

I'm on exactly the same day! What are you up to? I've got 7 letters, 4 trophies and have been focusing on the sigils, but yeah, it's a bit of a slog at this point

Discovering the run button was one of the biggest joys for me in that game

I think I read that he was in a deleted scene in Space Jam New Legacy, hiding out in Casablanca, where he tries to hit on someone and gets schooled for being a creep. That seems like the right angle, but I think they just wanted to avoid it altogether

It was fun, there was some strategy in pairing characters because of weight and their specialty weapons

I think it's the one I've sunk the most time into, it was the first that felt really fleshed out and polished to me. I know everyone's wearing rose-tinted glasses for 64 but it feels too rough for me. Even the SNES one holds up better

Yes! It was in my workday rotation for a while

Does it work? I remember awkwardly setting up a separate profile with a US account to get a game that wasn't available on the Aus eshop on Switch 1 and it's the only thing that doesn't work on my Switch 2

I think they're just collectables for collectables sake really. You can see your tally of ? blocks on each track on the map

Yeah, Donkey Kong is the game I'm holding out for. Kirby air riders is cool but too similar to Mario Kart for me to get too excited about yet. Hopefully those rumours of a June Nintendo Direct come true

Yeah, Mario Kart feels like a clever launch title aimed at a big group of Ninty fans, but I'm missing a meaty solo game. Breath of the Wild carried the Switch for months for me, and paired nicely with smaller multiplayer games like 1-2 Switch and Snipperclips when I wanted to show it off to friends

I read one roundup and was like "yeah I didn't miss anything" then found out later that they'd left out the announcement I've been waiting for for months: Jurassic World Evolution 3.

I genuinely didn't even hear that the Geoff show was on until I saw the roundups after

I had fun just hanging out with the characters in the manor between missions, but by the time they introduced the fourth currency I actively chose not to bother engaging with that one

It took like 4 before I was interested, then the last few of season 1 really got me invested. Then season 2 has just sucked all the air out of it again
comment in response to

Which ones? For me it's Mario Kart almost begrudgingly, then waiting a month until Donkey Kong, then hoping they have something else by the end of the year

My very spurious reasoning was "I know I'm gonna buy one eventually anyway, might as well jump in on day one so I get more time with it to thus justify the cost"

I was partway through Bowser's Fury but I stopped just so I can continue it on switch 2

It was super fun! Felt like GCAP but for kids books

Ok I've only just finished the last ep so I no longer have to ignore this thread for fear of spoilers. So, was the island scene the weird detour? It did feel kinda pointless, but my assumption is that it was setting up something that Abby was doing in the village, which we'll find out next season

They kept going with Simpsons ones until like 2001

I've been really enjoying it too! Especially interesting watching it with my partner who hasn't played the games but loves the show on its own terms

Honestly the Predator backstory makes more sense than the Prometheus one. Also, she'd have to be like 130 by then

Also ignore the dirty wall - she won't do it if I'm looking at her, so I had to hide

Exactly! Who's wasting time lowering defense, raising attack etc? Most I might do is poison or put em to sleep

Astro Bot, maybe Silent Hill 2 remake. Ghost of Yotei later this year. I dunno, I'm not as fussed about exclusives anymore, I'm all for games getting wide releases

My go-to is "Chest". You can instantly see if it has a CH, SH or TH in it, plus E doesn't hurt to know quickly

I started turning my PS5 all the way off every time just so I could hear the PS1 startup sound
