About 80% of tech claims/announcements are vaporware (Musk scores into the 99th percentile). Those of us who have covered this adjust accordingly and ask a lot of questions about said vaporware. Ironically, politicians also have a high vaporware rate, too — often missed by MS Media./3

Witness the asinine coverage of AI — the vast majority of these guys do not understand it even slightly, but write “knowledgable” copy about it (which generally fare only slightly better than AI output). I covered tech for more than a decade and know the tech BS dance./2
