Thatโs a great shame, it is stunning though.
Interestingly, on a later visit to the British Museum, we saw on display some of the original tiles from the tiled entrance shown on my photo from the Pergamon.

The same Giacometti that created the L Homme qui Marche statues?
Quite a revelation for me as Iโd only known him as a sculptor.
Fascinating.

It looks like George Orwell got the facts right, but just a little out on the dates. Best of luck my American friends. I think youโre going to need it๐

Iโve only ever had dolmades made with lamb, but avoided making them at home as my wife hates lamb.
This has given me some ideas.
Thankyou ๐

Hope you get a chance to visit nearby Corbridge. They were the first Roman ruins I saw as a young child, and at the age of 70, the fascination is still with me ๐

Beautiful plant but extremely expensive. From what Iโve seen, prices ranging between ยฃ500-ยฃ800.
Shame. Would have been perfect for us otherwise

The thought occurs to me, when all this madness comes to an end, and I pray that comes quickly, who out there is going to employ her?
Her credibility as a journalist is blown!

Not being rude, but your profile places you in the USA.
Doesnโt exactly give you ownership here.

And this is the crux of the issue. Is this deal good for British industry?
The answer is a definite yes.
Let the critics babble away, nobody is listening.

I love the response from Kemi Badenoch saying that any deal agreed at this summit is โ in danger of removing the benefits of Brexit โ!!!
What benefits? Please enlighten ๐

I remember in my early days, I had the piss taken out of me for some of my early abstract out of focus/ soft focus images.
The boot was on the other foot when I was commissioned by Elemis to do a whole series creative soft/out of focus shots. Stick to your gut feeling and go with your imagination.

Back in my Guardian reading days, if there was an article by Duncan Campbell, I read it. From beginning to end. First class journalism ๐๐๐

At what point will the tariff be charged, and to whom?
What happens to movies such as the Mission Impossible series.
An American movie, but filmed in various locations around the world. So what parts are liable to tariffs?
Heโs not really thought this through, has he ?
No, donโt answer that!๐๐
