Thanks for the kind words. When Apple introduced the second or third generation iPad, they contacted me to ask if I'd loan them a Star Trek padd prop for Steve Jobs to use in the event. That didn't work out, but I regret not having been able to attend, as it was one of Jobs' last public appearances.

DHS Officers near MDC coming out of the parking lot now in LA. At least one detention. Lots of stun grenades, pepper balls, chemical munitions. Rocks, chairs, water bottles in return.
LAPD is blocking traffic to the area.

The "glass" (actually acrylic) sailing ship art piece was made by artist Anthony Valetta. (not sure of spelling.) Anthony gave the ship to the production, and also gave a second ship to Gene Roddenberry, whose office it adorned until Gene's passing.
