Same people that are finding MAGA (and same reasons).

Wondering how they're receiving the funding that Steve Bannon was talking about in this clip? No doubt some clever financial back channels to hide it at work.

That's because it's the very same people (billionaires) funding and supporting both the MAGA Republicans in the USA and Reform in the UK, as well as other populists across the globe.

Fossil fuel companies make billions turning oil in plastic.
They want to keep shovelling plastic down our throats to grow their profits.
We need the UN to ban them from the Global Plastics Treaty talks - sign the petition now: act.gp/4kgDL5U

Reform UK Ltd - a company set up to benefit billionaires. Realised by taking power & removing profit blockers. Power is realised by promising poorly informed people (thanks to media infiltration) that they'll fix real, but wholly diversionary, issues if they vote for them. Why can't people see this?

You don't think he might be in the pocket of unethical and immoral fossil fuel billionaires who want to realise ever more profits from drilling do you??? 🤔

They're actually funded by those who are seeking to profit from fossil fuel extraction and usage. They are nothing more than a tool to remove standards, regulations, etc. that could prevent maximum profits being realised by these big greedy corporations and their owners.

And the majority of farms grow monoculture crops like sugar beet and rapeseed crops.
They’re hardly putting food on the table, and you wouldn’t want to eat those two crops for breakfast.
60 years ago farming was much more diverse with many different kinds of foods grown.

Problem is intensive farming with monocultures will destroy environments and drive away crucial wildlife that feeds into farming culture.
Without bees to pollinate and other insects as well as animals these crops will eventually be hugely susceptible to climate variations which could ruin crops.

You would hope they see the impact of flood and drought on their farms as having its root cause in climate breakdown.
Unfortunately, it might take a while for some to realise this though. Many are wholly addicted to quick fix solutions provided by climate change denying big money corporations. 😢

It's well past the time the United Nations was reformed and given some real teeth, ensuring it protects us all from the greed and corruption of the billionaires, their big businesses, and the countries / governments that they control.

There are some things that require an effective governing body that sets policy and standards that all countries and people must adhere to, or be firmly dealt with. This includes environmental and climatic impacting decisions such as this that put profit before the health and wellbeing of us all.

Really interesting article. How do you convince the farming community that this is the way forward if the government is dragging its heels and continues to support the profits of big ag, oil, and chemical corporations over the health and sustainability of nature and people (including farmers)?

But Reform is funded by fossil fuel interests. Please make it make sense. 🙏

The sad thing is, delivering good outcomes for British people, rather than billionaires/oligarchs, would disarm the right-wing populists who thrive on peoples dissatisfaction.
I appreciate they'd be exposing themselves to pissed off billionaires, but there's a lot more of us than there is of them!

Their 'manifesto' in the Daily Mail recently: "Drill, baby, drill". Tells you exactly who they're working for.

Sorry, I wasn't counting the words! 😅
Perhaps "Liz Truss wants me dead" works better?
