In a town where the official population is listed as 1222 (in 2023, but see the comments below the original post) this is somewhere around 8–10 percent of the population who turned out for #NoKings. Way to go West Yellowston!

The Denver “No Kings” demonstration is 95-year-old Dolores Taylor’s first protest. Seeing other people her age at the protest gives her hope, she said. “We’re here, coming out against the Trump administration, because this is not the American way,” she said. 📸@brumerdelilah.bsky.social

BREAKING: A few minutes ago, a vehicle of three people was rammed by a truck belonging to federal immigration authorities in Boyle Heights, CA. According to security footage shown to me, they deployed chemical munitions & detained the driver at gunpoint. All are US citizens according to the wife.

A woman walking home alone was shot point-blank with “non-lethal” rounds fired by officers in Los Angeles. A neighbor filmed the assault and rushed to help only to be fired on and ordered back.

I have a bunch of crows that follow me on my walks now, and suddenly a bunch of them landed close and started cawing nonstop furiously. I thought I'd pissed them off somehow -- when a coyote rounded the corner. Trotted past me on the opposite side, side-eyed me, and kept going.
