DOGE pretended to be an agency focused on making government more effective and efficient, and saving taxpayer dollars. Then it met GAO, the agency that has been doing it for a hundred years.

Ken would rather protect those already in Congress, no matter how old, than support the next generation of leaders.

Trump was impeached twice, convicted of 34 felonies, and led a coup to overturn the 2020 election. Republicans supported him through it all, yet Dems think the GOP will turn against him because of…. Terrible cabinet picks?

lol the “Biden -“ was referring to McConnell filibustering the bill under Biden’s term.

Biden - He blocked an independent Jan. 6th commission from being formed.
Biden - He blocked the Paycheck Fairness Act, which would have eliminated wage discrimination on the basis of sex.

McConnell filibustered Dem legislation 137 times in 2009-2010, killing over 400 bills that had passed the House, including the DISCLOSE Act, which Obama called “critical legislation”, that would have combated “dark money” from the Citizens United decisions.

And here we are, still waiting for Democrats to develop a plan that stonewalls Trump like Mitch McConnell stonewalled Biden and Obama.

A “strongly worded letter, urging” Trump to stop violating the constitution and “we will stand for this” messages from the “do-nothing” @democrats.org will be incoming shortly.

100 days of corruption.
100 days of “do nothing” Dems only sending strongly worded letters to Trump and posting “we can’t let this stand” messages.
They have shown to be incapable of protecting democracy, we cannot expect them to handle bigger issues like climate change.

“We must speak up, expose this, and stop it.”
This current generation of cong. Dems has been “speaking up and exposing it” since Trump took office, but they’ve yet to do anything to stop it.

The Republican response to Schiff’s bill will be the same as it always has: “This isn’t the time for politics. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.”
Then it gets forgotten.

“Donald Trump should stop [fill in the blank here]”. yeah, that worked out so well during his first administration that he’ll surely listen this time!
Come on, Jamie, don’t play us for fools.

“Some of”? Our country is undergoing a fascist coup led by a thrice impeached president and a South African billionaire. Our allies no longer trust us, our enemies are laughing at us, and our economy is crashing. Can’t trust Dems like you when this is described as “some of the worst” days.

And where’s the sign for him subverting the constitution, dragging the U.S. towards fascism, and turning our allies away from us? Oh right, Democrats only want to focus on one issue in hopes of getting a Cong. Majority as if Trump will follow the laws they might pass.

It’s really surprising how much your tone has shifted since we started calling you out as weak. Still, changing your tone won’t make us forget your actions.

Democrats should be shouting this every chance they get. The party of “Law & Order” isn’t following the law.
comment in response to

But the party you lead isn’t focusing on Trump pushing the U.S. towards fascism or authoritarianism. Instead, as one Dem Congressman told us at a town hall earlier in the week, Dems are going to solely focus on Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid.

The court ordered the man returned to the U.S. by midnight, Monday. In case anyone wants to know, the U.S. Congressional Research Service published a report describing what would happen if the Executive Branch violates court orders.

John Ratcliffe isn’t qualified to lead the CIA either, yet you voted for him, but you probably don’t want us to bring that up.

So Tulsi Gabbard and John Ratcliffe, both of whom were in that group chat, didn’t oppose it being used that way, and lied to Congress are not responsible as well?

Yes, many people know what inflation and cost of living are, but keeping messages simple, especially when it’s tied to everyday items, creates a more direct connection with voters. They can see the message, such as a specific good’s price, and be instantly reminded of a candidate talking about it.
comment in response to
post
First off, I’m not trying to be insulting to anyone or calling anyone stupid.
What I mean is: during people’s daily lives, such as shopping for a specific good, are voters more likely to think “inflation caused the price of X to change” or is the thought just “the price of X changed.”
