Apparently Trump didn't ask Governor Newsom to deploy the National Guard on LA. According to 32 U.S.C. § 328, (the United States Code), it's the GOVERNOR's right to refuse. Just like 4 awesome governors refused to authorize the National Guard on their citizens during the BLM protests in 2020.
