What if those fake DMV texts were real and the Division of Motor vehicles was using .wang as their TLD?

The merch table at this Tennis show doesn’t have any CDs but it does have a skateboard deck.

The last couple of mornings, reading This & That, the zine from @JohnBrady over breakfast instead of looking at my phone have been rather pleasant.

This is quite a reversal from the days when I was skateboarding. www.mineinmono.net/2025/05/31/s... #skateboarding

Few realize that Sabbath’s “Iron Man” was originally called “Iron Bloke.”

I haven't been listening to podcasts much lately, but this is one I want to explore.

The Democratic Joe Rogan talk is amusing. www.mineinmono.net/2025/05/28/t...

Found out that article on "The Era of Thrash" by Annie Lowrey in The Atlantic isn't about early Metallica. #metal

Curious about the upcoming newsletter feature for Pika blogs.

I've found a helpful workflow with MCP, which was getting a lot of attention last week, but my lady friend isn't having any of my AI nonsense. www.canneddragons.net/readwise-mcp/

I couldn’t resist the temptation to break out my cassettes again. Time to give this puppy a spin. Thanks @jack!

Bandcamp finally added playlists but I'm not as excited as I thought I would be. www.mineinmono.net/2025/05/23/b...

My wife suggested to my son that he watch Lars And The Real Girl. I don’t think he made it through the whole thing and he was quite critical. I don’t think he’s ready for a film like Pumpkin.

As a plain text nerd, I’ve got to admit I really want to try out Journelly. It’s been a couple of years since I messed with org mode, but this looks like something very different.

Finished reading: How the Irish Saved Civilization by Thomas Cahill 📚 "But in the age of John Scotus Eriugena, Christian churchmen did not burn books. Only barbarians did that."

Having a failed newsletter experiment this morning with Micro.blog made me realize that I want the ability to send newsletters again and have members only posts, so I resurrected my Ghost site: www.canneddragons.net

I felt really gross setting up a Ticketmaster account just now. Where’s Ed Ved when you need him?
