Who’s paying full price for Yakuza 0 when you can most likely get it on Steam Sale next week for $10?

I don’t disagree with any of that. I think they are just playing the only hand they have left (trying to leverage Windows)

If they want to smoothly transition their existing console install base to a next gen device that is Windows based, they need a way to bring their purchases over. They can’t tell them to just go re-buy everything on Steam.

That show is such a time capsule of the era right before social media and smartphones. Nerd culture is still uncool, comic book names are punchlines, people are discovering bands by going to shows

Would love to see the reaction of somebody playing that game for the first time now, after Marvel and every other major IP have leaned hard into the multiverse. It wouldn’t be nearly as shocking/unique

Since you had to launch Remap (and Crossplay) from the ground up, I would love to read an article about what it takes to get an independent outlet off the ground. Could also serve as a roadmap for some of the writers and staff affected

I’ve definitely moved back to light mode on PC, just feels a little more airy

Modems have a built in status page, sometimes like 192.168.100.1, that you can go to on your local network. It will show you all the channels the modem is connected on and number of errors. It's often a diagnostic tool used by Comcast support

Did they replace the actual line to the modem itself? Did you do the signal test on the modem?

Do you have a position in mind? Is something like this workable or are you looking to keep it on the edge to maintain the flat sides www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2QYMLF6

Projects as a logical container continues to be one of the best things about GCP. How much time are companies spending building account vending machines to get a similar approach in AWS?

Having a second kid is almost like getting to start a greenfield project. “Oh boy am I going to do everything the right way this time!” And then a bunch of stuff you never thought of throws a wrench into all those plans as well. But watching your first become an older sibling is very rewarding

Fastmail. Has an easy migrate from Gmail feature that will let you move everything and keep emails forwarding until you’re ready to cut ties completely. Incredibly fast and clean web interface join.fastmail.com/59d4c1b7

I still prefer my own window tiling app (Magnet) over the native integration, but beyond that not much else. A clipboard manager and a screenshot manager is about it
