I don’t think it’s suggesting that we coddle them (also, fuck that suggestion), it’s saying that democrats need to capitalize on these unpopular issues to inform and win over voters
comment in response to post
Also, I do not care *at all* about ‘personalities, I’m 43. I care about someone stepping up and forcing movement within the Democratic Party, because they are absolutely useless right now.

Forgive me if I missed something, but I have not seen where he wasn’t supporting those issues. I don’t even feel that strongly about him in particular, it’s more that I can’t stand the DNC getting rid of anyone challenging the status quo, which at the moment is pretty terrible
comment in response to post
Agree!! Another younger Dem getting ousted, it’s awful. This party will never get better if they eject those who make the old guard look bad.
comment in response to post
This is a pretty poor reason to keep younger, energized Dems out of the party, when the elders are asleep at the fucking wheel
comment in response to post
No, but they neatly tied a bow around their summary of criticisms and the larger criticisms of how he runs Open AI. Also, it’s morally correct and funny to nitpick billionaires

Did you read the article to the end

Christ what the fuck. Did not need this sentence

And actually, I take that back. There is plenty of evidence that many nutritional studies *are* garbage. This is not a new problem; it has been known for a while.
comment in response to post
Saying that a study might prove to be accurate later on is akin to saying someone taking a guess at something might be right.
comment in response to post
It’s not ‘evidence’. It’s that there does not exist a reliable methodology to get reliable results for nutrition studies. It is virtually impossible to prove that one particular diet or food group is superior to another. This is not like Newtonian physics.

She looks so happy though
comment in response to post
The point here is that most nutritional studies are garbage, so cite away but it’s not meaningful
comment in response to post
Another reason it should only exist in theory and online
comment in response to post
Due to the near impossibility of developing an accurate, long term study of diet, there is no reliable evidence that a specific diet (i.e, plant-based vs animal) is “better”
comment in response to post
It’s ridiculous anyhow, because you can be vegetarian/vegan and have an extremely poor quality diet. If you take a standard diet and replace any amount of it with vegetables, your health is likely going to improve.

The data collection and statistical reliability are the precise reason why Liz’s statement should be taken with a massive amount of salt
comment in response to post
Liz, please read the article.

There’s multiple ads I had to scroll past, it’s towards the bottom
comment in response to post
It says right in the article where the proceeds are going, the identity of the buyer has nothing to do with it
comment in response to post
Too afraid to scroll thru replies lest I see earnestness
comment in response to post
Well that’s the problem
comment in response to post
You are what this article is about
comment in response to post
I wish it didn’t feel like 60% of the replies on here are people that don’t understand any jokes at all. Too much earnestness

Your absolute departure from reality would feel more at home on the other side of the aisle, my friend.
comment in response to post
You don’t follow these accounts, otherwise you’d know that’s absolutely not true. This isn’t sports, we don’t defend our team no matter what. We need results, not for them to go to sleep
comment in response to post
Yeah ngl it was my first impression also

Missing layers of makeup plus the bangs being parted give her up as non-repub

The bar has dropped so low so fast I was shocked to see it
comment in response to post
Because if they had any more of it in there, they wouldn’t be realtors
comment in response to post
What does any of that have to do with the mountains of evidence that vaccines don’t cause autism
comment in response to post
Maybe if you sell another home you can afford more hair plugs

And only 64% of eligible voters voted in 2024. And none of it matters, because those of us that did vote, and voted against him have to deal with the fallout, so I’m not fucking interested in your whiny diatribe
comment in response to post
Your numbers aren’t even close to correct, but keep on with your useless rant
comment in response to post
Look man. You can feel how you want and say what you want. I wish more people had voted for Harris but I also think the Dems way more of the responsibility for the loss than the pro Palestine folks. And spending this much energy going on about is, in my opinion, p e t t y
comment in response to post
Why…do you think that is the case? People are gutted over this. But it’s besides the point. You can be curious if you feel like it isn’t the same reaction, but the point is most people just care about saying ‘I told you so’ rather than the actual issue and it’s fucking annoying
comment in response to post
Excellent point

The part where he says he’s “looking forward” sarcastically says everything about his priorities
comment in response to post
It’s not the harshness of it, just seems a little unhinged
comment in response to post
My citation is the guy’s post
comment in response to post
Ok the guy posted without reading fully, but you seem to be freaking out a little bit?
comment in response to post
I voted for Harris, but this is petty and useless. You don’t care about Palestinians, you care about saying ‘I told you so’ to people who didn’t want to vote for Dems based on their handling of Gaza
comment in response to post
Can’t tell if he’s 12 or 62, it’s one or the other
comment in response to post
Separate rooms, yes. Separate beds in the same room, nuh uh
comment in response to post
Christ almighty, can you at least understand the situation before crying about it? This isn’t sports, you don’t have to defend your team unconditionally
comment in response to post
This had to be written circa 2011-ish, when describing things this way was considered humorous for some reason instead of infinitely corny
comment in response to post
He spelled feet ‘feat’, so I’m not sure what anyone is expecting from this guy
