If Hoyo is going to continue to be shitty and do the wrong thing by recasting instead of just offering basic AI protections, they could at least COMMIT to the work of finding appropriate new voices that don't sound like the original VAs but the Store Brand Versions 2/2

I was already out of high school when I finally got diagnosed. And yes I was heavily bullied for being the "weird" kid. A diagnosis does So Much for someone even later in life

It seems in general most fandoms treat their VAs better than Hoyo. Justin Briner is pretty cook in real life, met him at a con and he was very nice

It's exhausting. I got back into the BNHA fandom recently and people like so say the fandom is toxic but there's already been so much more communication, critical thinking, and just general ease that I've been desperately missing the past few years. I love Genshin but the fandom is too much 3/3

But Hoyo proves to be the exception to this rule. This doesn't mean every person is bad, but it is a worse skew than I've seen befofe. People view basic communication as intimidation, ignore actual lived experience and expertise, and for some lack basic creativity or critical thinking skills 2/3
