Gender is binary. The gamete-based definition of gender is supported by over a century of scientific research. It’s an essential part of our understanding of human biology. It’s not ideological, nor an opinion, it’s a simple biological fact.

Puberty is a completely natural part of human development. It should take place without unnecessary interventions. Putting teens on medication for no good reason is simply wrong.
They can start the transition process when they are old enough to make an informed decision.

The problem is not fake.
Any man can just proclaim to be a woman and gain access to women-only spaces and sports, no need for a transition, just a bit of makeup, a cheap wig, and a dress.

Yes, they are prescribed for real health problems. Feeling unsure or uncomfortable about your body is a normal part of going thru puberty. Puberty is completely natural and should occur without invasive and unnecessary medical interference.

This is woke gender ideology at its finest.
Would you call this deceitful?

The fact is that he competed in the women’s division.
Women’s sports are for women, not men. Period.

Medicine divides people into these two categories for this exact reason. For example, if a woman is rushed to the hospital with abdominal pain, she will be checked for different causes than a man, because she literally has different organs.

The number is based on biological differences between men and women.
Male anatomy is different from female anatomy.
That’s a basic fact. Period.

The fact is, most people who identify as transgender or nonbinary don’t have gender dysphoria. That’s a big problem, especially among teens, who undergo transition only to regret it a few years later. Transition causes irreparable damage to the body. We need to protect teens from this.

That’s called gender dysphoria, a genuine mental illness. It can be treated either with therapy (i.e., helping the person become comfortable in their body as it is) or with a "transition." Consenting ADULTS should be able to transition. No one’s banning "gender-affirming" care for adults.

Here are some recent news showing just how entitled and disrespectful some of these individuals are:

Also, these identities are socially contentious, especially among vulnerable teens, who are put on puberty blockers as a result. These medications have negative and irreversible effects on their bodies. We need to protect them from this.

There is a significant number of people exploiting this "gender as a social construct" thing to gain access to gender-exclusive spaces and sports, which is why it’s important to limit this legally.

Yes, consenting adults can choose whatever lifestyle suits them best, but they should keep in mind that dressing up as the opposite gender or cutting off "problematic" body parts won’t change their gender. Also, with most of these individuals, you can pretty accurately identify their true gender.

Yes, people with intersex conditions exist, but that's like 0.018% of the population. Also, most people with these birth defects fit either into the man or woman category. That leaves a quite insignificant amount of people who are actually genderless. Mere exceptions.

This fact is based on the biology of human reproduction. There are just two types of reproductive cells: sperm and eggs. If you're born with a reproductive system designed to produce sperm, you're a man. If you're born with one designed to produce eggs, you're a woman.
It’s really that simple.

In a free country, a person can pretend to be whichever gender they want, but they shouldn’t expect everyone to go along with their delusion.
comment in response to

It’s important to distinguish people with gender dysphoria, a genuine mental illness that may be treated with “transition”, from people for whom pretending to be the opposite gender is a lifestyle choice. All non-binary identities are also lifestyle choices.
comment in response to

Gender as a spectrum is an ideology; binary gender is a simple biological fact. Period.
Humans, just like other mammals, produce two types of sex cells: eggs, produced by females, and sperm, produced by males. There are only two types of sex cells, therefore, only two genders.

It’s quite simple - real women are born women. They can do anything they want and will still be women.
Transgendered "women" are, in fact, men pretending to be women. No matter what they do, they will still be men because that’s how they were born.

Come on, darling, calling people names just because they have different opinions than you isn’t very nice.
Try to be more demure and mindful next time.
I know you can do it!

No, there’s at least one type of conversion therapy that works. Actually, it’s more like life coaching. It only works for people who are truly dissatisfied with their sexual orientation and want to change it. The therapist just guides them on their journey and helps them achieve their goals.
comment in response to

Most methods of conversion therapy are pure quackery, but some actually work. Nobody should be forced into it, but if an individual chooses to, they should be able to do so without government interference.
Most Americans are well-educated, just like Europeans.

So, if I understand it right, the EU might consider infringing on an individual's right to access therapy if this petition passes the threshold?

Back when I lived in NYC, one of my neighbors was a trans woman (originally a man). She was genuinely a nice person, and she just wanted to live her life peacefully. There’s nothing wrong with that. I don’t have a problem with trannies like her.

I actually read both left-wing and right-wing media. I also watch independent journalists and podcasters on YouTube.
I was not indoctrinated. I base my opinions on facts.

Gay people can act on their feelings, but they can also choose not to. In fact, my brother was gay, but he’s now happily married to a woman, and she’s expecting their first child.

Homosexuality is congenital, but you can choose to not act on these feeling. I don’t mind gays, but I firmly believe there are only two genders, and that men do not belong in women’s sports and spaces.

People of all races are equal. Woke ideology aims to divide people based on their race.
There’s quite a significant difference between legal and illegal immigrants. I think legal immigrants are as American as I am.

Even thru I voted for Trump, I do NOT support everything he does.
I voted for him mainly because of the economy and dismantling woke ideologies, especially gender ideology.
The way he handles economic issues is questionable, but at least he delivered on the woke stuff.

I just made a guess based on your posts.
I agree, we need more parties. There’s definitely space for at least one or two, but I think most people would just stick to voting Democrat or Republican.

Since when does one’s sexual orientation dictate their political preferences?
I thought Dems were supposed to be the party of diversity, acceptance, and tolerance, yet it seems like you’re unable to accept or at least tolerate people with different opinions.

Let’s get one thing straight:
Trans people have the same basic rights as anyone else. Human rights apply universally.
On the other hand, criticizing one’s lifestyle choices is also a human right - the right to freedom of speech and thought.
