If this is for his 79th b’day, what the heck will he do next year for his 80th when he won’t have the Army as an excuse?

No, I don’t want to see Pete as VP. He’d be superb as Sec’y of State with his language skills and brilliant, quick mind. He’d also be an excellent Chief of Staff, probably the most important job in the White House, but I’d prefer to see him on the global stage.

Yes…he’s absolutely brilliant, and still a really down-to-earth and likable guy, with a great sense of humor and no inflated ego.

I disagree with this ticket. Want to see Buttigieg as Sec’y of State or Chief of Staff, preferably the former. Chief of Staff is arguably the most important position in the White House, but I’d really like to see Pete on the international stage.

I’ve never followed Musk on Twitter, but anyone who uses the word ‘’retard’’ as a noun is an automatic block for me. I find it one of the most offensive terms imaginable, and cannot even begin to contemplate the pain it must cause to those developmentally disabled, or to their families. He’s a boor!

I started my son on Pete Seeger when he was two! Harry Chapin and Jim Croce came much later, along with the underrated Stan Rogers.

But isn’t defenestration quicker, with no antidotes to spoil the outcome?

I certainly agree, and want to tell you that your JMJ brought me back to my childhood…that was one of my Irish mother’s favorite exclamations! And aptly used here to express disbelief!

In many ways I hope so, bc I think Vance could end up being worse…hard as that may be to envision.

It was Carl Perkins, before Elvis. IIRC, both on Sun Records.

So glad you had a wonderful bishop as you began your Episcopal journey, and I’d certainly add PB Michael to that list. Gotta trust the Holy Spirit—again—for our next one!

I’m far from a published poet, but equally lucky to share that cool bishop with the Rev. Megan!

Try to get it down to 1:1 at least! Or do what I’ve always done: read the gift book, turning pages v-e-r-y carefully and not far enough back to damage the spine…and then gift wrap them when you’ve finished!
