By some in these parts they were questioning Le Bris future. When they all admit they’d have been happy with 4th at the start, the form was stupendously poor, that if it had continued in to the p/o’s I’m not sure he’d be manager next season. As it happens, now promoted and a hero. Funny old game.

As soon as there was a player covering he could’ve committed, daft.

Nah, average, will probably turn out alright in a few years but in the right now we need some profit and out and out PL ready types more than potential

I’ve not seen any ridiculousness this side but assuming Twitter/X responses were ludicrously OTT

I like Struijk but over the last two seasons our best and most consistent form has been when Rodon + Ampadu played together

Get rid - if we can make any profit at all it’s a bonus

‘This story has brought out two categories of people that I’ll admit I struggle with: people who don’t get the work of Mark Rothko, and people who dislike kids.’
Funny that, because I don’t get people finding two rectangles as a religious experience

And how many times this season have we produced this same performance away from home?
Millwall, Blackburn, Luton, Portsmouth, QPR…
Doesn’t bode well for next season. Farke hasn’t been able to solve the problem of beating shite teams away

Great stuff. Take whatever we can get for him and stick it in the Manor Solomon permanent fund.

Keegan has always been pretty good since the 49ers came in. Broke the Angus to Everton story too.

He’s always managed the press well here, though.
Buying Rangers, Farke uncertainty, Red Bull pressure (you’d think) and influence (probably)

Ha he actually blocked me on the other place for saying Boro isn’t proper Yorkshire.
Which I wholeheartedly stand by. 😂

Dreadful, outgunned by Russell Martin at the critical point is never the most reassuring

The standard of coaching and tactical prowess in the PL now is immense.
Look at clubs like Palace, Fulham, Bournemouth - top tier tactical managers. It’s relentless throughout the league. Our owners will be aware of this.
As unpalatable as the move is, necessary, perhaps.

Done well at Como, but not quite the Mourinho or Knutsen calibre I would want to see to risk upheaval.

Concerning, really. Transfer dealings have been vastly improved, Rodon, Rothwell, Bogle, Tanaka - shrewd, smart signings.
Have to wonder what the model is they’re looking for by changing so much of a recently very effective upstairs

Maybe I’m a cynic, but I’d read more into them not moving to quash the rumour given the opportunity to do so.

That doesn’t mean there’s no source. That means they won’t officially respond. They can still push this stuff out to test the waters

Would prefer us to keep him and I do dislike them putting this rumour out before the seasons finished, mind you.

Like Farke, but if they don’t think he’ll keep us up, better to do it now than in October.
They’ll look at Newcastle as the template for what they want to do, they have the financial muscle to back us.
I don’t think Farke is a bad manager but have to consider his Norwich record
