Thirteen years ago, a man angrily threw a stick into the ocean, disgusted by the turn his life had taken. As he walked away, his faithful companion understood in that moment what was required of her. She entered those raging waters, vowing to not return until that piece of driftwood was reclaimed.

This would have probably gone better had the president to which he is referring not misspelled his own name recently.

I’m pretty sure that’s a Pokémon.

So what if the whole thing is to get all those tanks to Washington and then to keep them there?

I imagine he’s shirtless and Musk realizes at that moment that Miller has three nipples and they’re all pierced.

Ooorrrr, they could get him to agree to meet, Musk walks in, and the only person in the room is Stephen Miller.

I will never be surprised by how terrible a person can be.

100% chance Harvard used that statement in their lawsuit.

I think it’s true. In the Bible, God would punish the Israelites for disobedience by allowing harm to come to them at the hands of foreign rulers. So, I think he’s more like a modern Nebuchadnezzar.
He’s not a savior, just an evil “king” that God will use to punish Christians for their actions

We are currently staying in the mountains north of Asheville. Beautiful country, beautiful people. Still struggling to dig out from Helene. People still living in shacks and tents. Homes destroyed. Biden never once thought about not sending aid. Trump’s parade is more important to him. Fuck them.

I mean, isn’t this simple? We can accept the plane and it is not allowed to be transferred to Trump later. It will forever stay a US-owned aircraft. Now see if he still wants to do it.

Yes. Can you imagine dairy farmers having to alter their whole operation bc now Facebook conspiracy moms want to come onto the farm to talk about which cow their milk comes from? That will last about half a Scaramucci before they get fed up with that nonsense.

Is that what we are calling the random bad things happening to all of us in our lives now? It seems like everyone I talk to has some terrible, aggravating thing happening to them all of a sudden.

We are quickly approaching Antichrist territory. An authoritarian president declaring himself to also be the head of the Christian faith? A day after he says he runs the world?
And I know this makes me sound like a lunatic. I know that. I wouldn’t just say this w/o giving it serious thought.

I don’t know. They moved back in a weak draft and picked up a first next year. If you don’t love the person at 2, it makes sense to get more for it.

That is a dictatorship with Trump as the dictator. Are you sure you understand what a dictatorship is?

They’ll do exactly what Trump tells them to do, which is fight to the last drop, and expend whatever dignity (if any) they have left.

Versailles is stunning. We will def go back. We didn’t have a ton of time so rather than take up a whole day at the Louvre, we hit Musee di Orsey, and several smaller sites in that same timeframe. So much to do, so much to see, and it’s all breathtaking.

Haha Dumb David, you used what’s called “logic” in your rebuttal. Silly goose.

What do they think these federal workers will do? Oh, I have a doctorate in neuroscience, but that factory job making car seats sounds cool too. Maybe I’ll do that instead of taking this lucrative offer from Canada or Europe that will transform my research and my career?

Yes, bc of replacement cost. If I have a stock car that cost 10k, but to replace it, I have to buy the same car for $13k, & I have leadership on my ass about my margins, I mark the old car up enough to be able to buy a new one plus make the same %. So my cost went up but my profit went up also.

I’ve been saying this since December of 2016!!! Ppl would say “God raised Trump up to be president” and I would respond “Yes, but as a judgment against the American Christian church that will bring America to its knees”.

From our trip in 2023. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the building to the left is a hospital now?
