Oh god.... it's happening all over again.

True purpose was to weaken Europe (but there were probably individual financial and personal incentives as well - Johnson became PM on the back of it). Either way, it was never about improving the lives of British people.

Is the middle person having a stroke?

USA! USA!

@mrjamesob.bsky.social James where's Wednesday's catchup? Someone's slacking off!

Also note the contrasting piece bottom right. Starmer is "dithering" over the trans debate while "pro women" Kemi properly understands the situation.

Ha ha! Although not sure how useful Keg-Breath's organs would be at this stage.

But it's like Tijuana right? It feels more Spanish with the J.

I had an idea the other day that in the future, analogue media (VHS, cassette tapes etc) will make a big comeback as they will be (for the most part) AI proof.

Work on a personal project (so you are motivated) and learn as you go. Works gor me!

Ha ha! Why don't you tell us how you really feel Nick? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Oh I know! Just pointing out the tariffs had not much to do with being in or outside the EU, but more to do with insane maths. If Britain were in a similar situation to Switzerland their tariffs would be higher than the EU.
comment in response to post
As another counterpoint, Switzerland got hit with higher tariffs than the EU.

I don't get the hype over Dyson. And the owner is a twat.

Donating! Probably not on the top of your priority list but can you make sure the app is optimized for foldables?!

Yeah fair, I think Spectrum nostalgia is probably a distinctively British thing and I'd prob have similar affection towards it if I had grown up there (making massive presumption that you're British here!!)

Didn't John Lennon beat women? πŸ€”

C64 >>>> Spectrum. Fact.

Sexually assaulting a woman in a department store dressing room sounds like a pretty violent crime to me. And no need to imagine it, since it actually happened.

Haha, I wonder how many different terms there were for this. They were called "hot knives" where I'm from (so I heard... πŸ™ƒ)

The lack of self awareness is off the fucking charts.

Not sure if the guy was a parody or not but he kinda sounded like Michael D Higgins (Irish president). πŸ˜‚

My favourite quote is "Don't be nervous, I'm not going to kiss you." I try to use it as much as possible irl.

Ha, I was literally just taking to someone the other day about rewatching "In the Loop". I guess the universe has spoken!

I'm a bit more "optimistic" about the obvious lack of politics at this year's Oscars. After the election I think the memo was sent around that, rightly or wrongly, rich celebs getting involved in politics seems to cause more harm than good in America at the moment.

Is there somewhere you can donate? Genuine question! Appreciate it's just one guy behind the app.
comment in response to post
Oh yeah, god forbid users of a hugely popular mobile OS enquire about a version that they can use. πŸ™„
comment in response to post
When's Android version available? Come on guys, it's not 2010 anymore.

How about Putin resigns?
comment in response to post
He always was Lewis. I think your comment should read "Any doubt that Trump isn't on Putin's side has now evaporated" Your comment makes it seem like Zelenskyy somehow pushed him towards Putin after today's events which is highly disingenuous.

What an absolute disgrace.

Let's see them pull the tough guy act with Putin...

A lot of uncomfortable looking faces at that desk (including Trump). Also, the awkward silence when Musk finishes his little prep talk. Almost everyone in that room hates him. πŸ˜‚

5 should be "Sang the songs that remind me of the better times" surely? I mean if you're gonna reference something for a joke, at least get the lyrics right. That's all I'm sayin'
comment in response to post
Why do people still suck up to this cretin even when criticising him? "Elon, I have long admired you blah blah blah". Niceties are a waste of time on this perennially zonked out douchebag.
comment in response to post
Lol, as if Trump and his cronies give two f*cks what Nige and the boys think. The current US administration would turn on them in a heartbeat if they ever dared to say anything that went against their dear leader. Which is not going to happen in any case since Fartgas is obviously pro Russia.

Ha, I just commented about this. Very interesting that a party like Reform is adopting a stance about the Ukraine war that’s a bonafide vote loser, even amongst their own supporters. What could possibly explain this unusual behaviour? πŸ€”
comment in response to post
More likely a spokesman for Putin (via Trump). This is Mr Brexit after all. You also have to wonder why Reform Ltd. are adopting an obvious vote losing stance on the war in Ukraine.
comment in response to post
Yeah either way, the trust is gone. Even if the US did somehow reset to "normal" come next election, how can we be sure everything wouldn't be ripped up again in another 4 years?
comment in response to post
Yep, life comes at you fast!
comment in response to post
Brexit looking more and more sinister with each passing day.
comment in response to post
Womanizers? I think you mean sex offenders.
comment in response to post
Wait, she called it "Twitter" and not "X"? Big Daddy Musk won't like that.
comment in response to post
Ed, can you clarify what you mean? Thanks!
comment in response to post
Okay well then he should use the term "the EU" (political entity) and not "Europe" (geographical entity). Like I said though I'm pretty sure he means Europe as a whole (including all non-EU countries).
