Sàilean loop for this mornings run. The view to Mull never disappoints.

Another fine day in the Peak. Went for a run over Kinder Scout taking in Fairbrook Naze and the little visited Aztec Stone.

Great bike ride yesterday in the sunshine. It's the first time I've used the fingerless cycling mitts this year.

Went running late this afternoon. The dog had to wait up for me. Funny how she knows all the smalls paths up on the moor. Got a close look at t the peat restoration work going on.

Still enjoying the dry conditions in the Peak.

March's fell race was Wolf's Pit near Bamford, Derbyshire. A great route up and over the moor in perfect conditions. Came 92/220 taking an hour. I was 6th Male V60.🙂🏃

Perfect conditions in the Peak for the Wolf's Pit Fell Race. Got round the 5.75ml/1402ft in an hour.🏃🏻😊

Had a run over my local hills this morning. Dry underfoot even on Black Hill.🏃☀️😊

Took advantage in a break in the weather to take the ferry and bike to visit Taigh Seamus à Ghline. Still, I did catch it and got soaked before I made it to the bothy. All good at the bothy, no rubbish to dispose off, happy days.🙂 Fitted a new heat alarm.

I always get a sense of adventure when at Oban harbour.

I'm on a project to do one fell race a month during 2025. For someone who doesn't train, today went well.

'Terra Incognito' above Holmfirth on the morning fell run. Fortunately my specialist route finding pal with was me.🐕🙂🏃

Climbed Thorpe Cloud above Dovedale in the Peak District today. Grand little hill. This was my last "Ethel" a list of 95 hills named after Ethel Haythornthwaite who pioneered the establishment of the Peak District as Britain's first national park in 1951.

Uags is a fine bothy on the south end of the Applecross peninsula. I have visited but these photos were taken on a month long sailing trip around the Hebrides.

Here's a few bothies which I stayed in this month.

Sutherland, in NW Scotland, has small but elegant mountains.

A bluebird day on Ben Stack, Sutherland today.

Another fine morning in the Holme Valley. Black Hill mostly clear of cloud.

Managed an early morning run with my sidekick today. Definitely need d the headtorch.

A great day on the Kinder edges. The low sun lighting up the screen

I started hat number 73 this morning.

Ben Nevis from Point on the Isle of Lismore this morning. I was waiting for the ferry.

The tide was in at Sailèan this morning which resulted me taking a brief paddle on the morning run.

Waiting for the ferry to Lismore at Port Appin.

My knitting 100 Fair lsle hat project has reached number 71.

The last mile home and it's not all downhill.
