I’m not sure what to tell you, they need money to work and flourish as an industry. Breaking down the paywalls isn’t going to do that. If you’re simply pointing out that the industry’s already past the point of saving, fine!

The answer is still: pay for news. Pick an outlet or two and pay for the work they’re doing for you. The economics have degraded to the point where it is more of a pain, but there is no other answer.
