Ik krijg whiplash van de man. Maar als hij dit zo'n vier maanden volhoudt en nu zo'n 1000 F-16's, Bradleys en Abrams gaat sturen naast AA middelen en intel vind ik het best

Ah, you have good taste. I was a young lad when we visited Swanage, back when the line just got extended. Never saw this one steam though, but the line made an impression. England truly pioneered heritage rail.

I most certainly will. I saw a steam event online and it was brilliant.
Re BTW: oops. I'll try not to from now on

Uzbekistan? Yes they have one in their train museum I believe.
Ukraine? Not to my knowledge. They have two predeseccors and one passenger version of the engine. The passenger version and one predeseccor are able to steam. Before the war various tours were offered

It is built in Ukraine! In the '50's in Luhansk. Another example of Russia's theft of Ukranian history.

That poor steam engine, being abused in such a manner. It needs to be liberated by the Kyiv Railway Museum.

The GOP protected him, allowing the treason to go unpunished within the legal framework of the constitution. I wouldn't claim 'we' did it, since 'we' implies everyone could aid in prosecution. Those in power could, but if half are backing the traitor, the legal checks are worthless

When does incompetence become treason? Seriously

Congrats man. I've been doing the same as a post covid patient myself. I'm three years along now and I can still see some progress. Keep it up! Recovering from this may not be a express train, but at least you get to see the scenery in this commuter.

I'd change 'threw it away' with 'ceded it willingly'.

What's next, Rubio will defend military intervention in Europe to defend oppressed Americans? This has Putin/Hitler all over it

You could always lean hard into MAGA land on X. I'll bet you that you'll become visible :p
Not entirely sure why over here though. But I'm not very visible as well. Maybe there's so much news that small folk disappear in the cracks

And yes, I get the sentiment. But Americans being ordered to kill Americans might give them pause. You need to exploit that
comment in response to
post
Just following orders is, indeed, no defence. But the person receiving the orders must be able to understand that his orders are illegal. E.g., understanding that his targets are civilians/non combatants.
The images those pilots received are short and fuzzy. They can't interprete. Intel officers do
comment in response to
post
Those pilots would not be able to ID their targets: they get coordinates and launch being cleared by someone else usually.
In addition, you want them on your side to prevent martial law from becoming permanent. Because Donny will try to declare it and take care of his enemies

I'm all for the military parade. As long as the parade turns halfway at the White House, takes Trump along with the parade, and ends with Trump and his cohorts in a nice, secure facility with plenty of bars.

So everything MAGA is against basically. Imperial presidency, federal overreach, the lot. And they'll applaud him and call him a genius and saviour.
I'd advise blue states to start making war plans. I bet he's going to send in the troops to replace democratic state leadership with MAGA occupiers

I think seccession's what he and his ilk want. An excuse to send in the army and militias to loot, burn and murder everyone who isn't red MAGA. It's part of their ideology to 'fight, fight' and 'take our country back'. Civil war is what they want.
To save the US ideals, change must come from within

The journalists who want to write about it, with journalistic integrity, are being drummed out of the bigger media corporations. Those who remain probably can't afford to rise up in an economy that's heading towards crisis.

In addition, I wonder how the paranoid antigovernment folks will react to their perfect prince ordering them to have an ID. I hope in anger, but knowing the cult, they'll rejoice and sing.

Well well well. This is a sign that people should heed. If you can only get these with a birth certificate, then those without a certificate are no longer eligible to become or renew their cards for citizenship. And everyone must have one now. It fits with the strategy how ICE is being used.
